You lost me at Henderson and Meachem being top tier WRs. They're products of an explosive system. #3 wrs, they are.
We'll see on Sunday. I actually signed up to have some good chat about two good football teams. But when the topic turns to making fun of our catastrophe, I'm out. I lost a family member in the storm. Several brothers and cousins lost their homes. We were definitely there for you after 9/11, as was the rest of the country. Wish I could say the same about Jets fans.
Hey, don't generalize. I have nothing but respect for the people of NO. That's awful you lost a family member.
Wow what a sensitive bunch. They come here talking shit, get it thrown in their face and cry. Yea well if you want civility don't start out talking trash. Get to know the people here first. Going to another teams boards means you are usually looking to come here and rub it in our faces if your team happens to win or talk shit. Ten bucks says after this game you will all be gone having added nothing regardless. Is it any wonder we are not tripping over ourselves welcoming you? Other than that grow a sack. Edt: I am not talking the Katrina stuff, obviously that isn't funny.
Every franchise has fans not worthy of listening to, so us argueing about anything and everything is just stupid. Saints fans it should be the best game of the week IMO and nervous I surely am. Here's to a great game.
I'm surprised that such an enlightened Saints fan didn't bother to point out that Avery (I'm assuming he means Donnie) doesn't play for the Saints. He plays up the river a bit. As far as your later comment about Devery Henderson and Robert Meachem, neither one can even sniff a franchise role. Henderson is fantastic as a deep threat, but his game is entirely one dimensional. He may develop into a solid receiver, but right now he's certainly not a franchise player. Meachem has better size and may be the better project, but lacks production and needs to stay healthy before anyone is going to call him a franchise receiver. That's a stretch on both counts at the very least. I do like Lance Moore, though. It's a shame he's been hobbled so far this season.
Is it me or should the thread read 'Bring it on Vilma'? Nobody gave the new guy $hit? Not that I support that kind of behavior. And while Vilma is a speedy linebacker I think Harris is miles ahead in the impact dept.
Vilma was always one of my fave jets - I of course bought his jersey right before he left He was a great player that just didn't fit our scheme at the time. Will be a good game against the Saints I think, their offense is great and Brees is a class QB - hard to beleive a team at one point had him and Rivers on the same side, must have been the best double act since Montana and Young.
Swager-liciouis. TyrannosaurusRex. Band of Lunatics. Are all headed your way. And you thought Katrina was nasty. Lock up the woman and run for the hills. It's coming.
