On if he?s surprised at how well of a fit he is in this defense? I just do what I?m coached to do. Rex (Ryan) and Mike Pettine brought a great scheme over from Baltimore. I think everybody has adapted to it well. Now, it?s just play fast, make plays and knock the crap out of people. It?s fun. I really can?t say anything more. It?s really fun playing in this defense. I got a kick out of that. He kinda made the same quote when he got drafted and they asked him what he liked most about football. His answer was along the lines of knocking peoples heads off.
he had a very good rookie season under mangini, mostly because we sucked and he racked up the tackles. now he's making impact plays every week. he's going to be a staple for this D for a while
is it too early to bring up all the people who thought trading him for Brandon Marshall was the thing to do?
I honestly don't know why we stopped. I wanted to trade for Marshall but even I knew that would be a stupid fucking move, and I'm pretty dumb. I mean, you knew that already. I sent out that press release. Then I ate a bunch of 'em. I'm dumb...dumb.
