The Jets were spotless in the first game. Perfect game. 2nd game the D was almost perfect. Offense made plays in the 2nd half when they needed. 3rd game we show some weaknesses and thats it, Tank is off the bandwagon. Don't get excited. Jeez, I never knew every week was supposed to be perfect.

Because he opened his mouth, the Gang Green and every other Jets messageboard will have a 10 page "bash Francesa" thread and everyone will tune in to get the latest scoop. He's right that yesterday's win was not pretty, and if someone other than Kerry Collins was playing quarterback, it probably would have been a different game. At the end of the day though, a win is a win. We got a big win against a Tennessee team that will probably figure into the playoff picture at some point(never count Jeff Fisher out) and a tiebreaker win over Houston. We got a split with New England. You really can't ask for anything more from a team that most people figured would be ahead of the game if they were 2-2 after 4 games. IF we win next week we will be 4-0 approaching a 4 game stretch against Miami, Buffalo, and Oakland. If we lose we'll be 3-0, undefeated in the AFC, approaching the same 4 game stretch.
