us, too. gotta love a wife who's idea of an anniversary trip is New Orleans and a Jets game on the road.
That was a mouthful lol. All of the pain and suffering leading us to this era, known as the sanchez-Ryan era.
I mentioned it earlier in the thread, but, no one was feeling "We Will, We Will, ROCK YOU," during the 2-minute warning??? That was an awesome moment, IMO. Stadium was rocking.
Rock you Me too. You Can't knock ANYONE who was there, pick on those who stayed home because of the rain. We were there and we were as loud as can be when it mattered. I didn't hear any boos. Stadium could have been fuller due to weather. We WILL rock you! Looking forward to when Miami (and their fans) is there!
Yeah! that's the avy!!! That shit just made me crack up the 1st time I saw it... Btw, the "behind the 7-11" reference was a joke because you "had a sore throat"...ehh, never mind, not funny if ya gotta xplainit...
It definitely wan't as good as last week as the crowd fell flat w/ the team in the 2nd and 3rd qtrs but overall a good job. Anyone know why they stopped using the air raid horn when the D took the field?
They were talking about the crowd on Mike & Mike this morning. They said they went to the game and the crowd was devistatingly loud and any opponent coming into the Meadowlands has to deal with this disadvantage.
Like last week, my voice is horse. I didn't lose it like last week, but my throat is sore and voice horse... I better liquified myself before yesterday but yelled just as loud.
As others have stated the crowd got a little restless in the 2nd qtr. But overall it was still pretty loud considering it was a crappy day. I like the fact that we no longer have to urge other fans to get up and yell when the Jets are on D.
The crowd was not as loud as last week but we did a pretty good job when it counted down the stretch. I was missing the air raid sirens as well. I was hoping they would be around all season. There were lots of empty seats at the top of the upper deck. The rain was off and on. It was pretty warm so it did't feel too bad. I more or less walked out dry and was able to remove my raincoat from time to time. Good effort all around.
ill admit it wasnt last as loud as the opener with the pats...but wait oh yeah that was our HOME OPENER AGAINST THE FRIGGIN PATS! of course it wouldnt be AS loud, but it was still damn loud and espescially when it mattered like on titans 3rd downs you could feel that we were messing them up you could see it in the way collins was reacting. i heard one air raid siren but barely because the crowd was overpowering it already, not kidding. so to those who have said we didnt seem as loud this week on the tv or their streams, just buy a ticket next time come on down and help us out, ill even buy yous a poncho.
