Well guys I have to tell you that the sudden success the New York Jets are having these so called experts assumed that Rex Ryan & Mark Sanchez leading the Jets would have a horrible start to this season and after this past statement game against the Patriots, everyone is upset that our team that have been labeled as one of the loveable losers of the NFL are now becoming a real threat in the AFC East, the AFC it's self and the rest of the league. Remember the thread with this story by Michael Ventre from NBC Sports website. http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/32975810/ns/sports-nfl// Also this current tampering charges by the 49ers on the Crabtree situation against the Jets, I think the agent for Crabtree mentioned the Jets so the 49ers made this up. The Jets who people always thought were the joke of the AFC East and one of the jokes in the league outside of the Detroit Lions are now upset and ticked off that they are backing up whatever they are talking about. The Jets are like the guy in the office who gets picked on by the clickish group, but when he returns the favor, the click is ticked off because they just got a taste of their own medicine. Right now it's a smear campaign on Rex Ryan and against the Jets because no one wants to see the New York Jets have any form of success & will bash them for actually standing up for themselves and showing the rest of the league that no one will take them for granted anymore. People can respect Bill Parcells long time ago when he coached the Jets, but when you have a brash and strong head coach like Rex Ryan. Not only did he talk a good game, he allows his players to do some talking and all of them backed it up. This is the friggin NFL, not the CFL as in the Cheating Football League what the Patriots are with Belichick, and this isn't the PFL as in the Panzy Football League with these rule changes & the way some of these writters are attacking the Jets with no guts. THIS IS THE FRIGGIN NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE! Sooner or later just what Romo was for the Cowboys & Roethlisburger was for the Steelers, the Jets needed their own version of a Diamond in the Rough and that is what Mark Sanchez has been for our Football team. Mark Sanchez has been absolutly fantastic for these past two games. Our Defense has been fantastic for these past two games. The future is bright for our NY Jets and the only people that can see that is us, some of our fellow Jets fans & former players that are in Broadcasting. I understand it's been two games, but I still think that we have a bright future in who is our QB & who is coaching this squad. It's us verses the rest of the league folks and it's time to show them we mean business. :jets:
Ah relax. I remember everyone, including the media, going down on the Jets after the 8-3 start. There were "Jets Giants Superbowl, OMG?!" talks all over the place. It was a bad article by a tool and we got accused of talking with a top notch receiver who won't sign with the team who drafted him. Just enjoy the games and have fun.
Step slowly away from the keyboard, pick up the prozac, then watch a hooked on phonics tape. If you ever find yourself typing a thread like this again, repeat these steps. I doubt the league is conspiring against the Jets. You'll notice I am also employing punctuation.
The League conspiring against the Jets? No that's not my rant. I'm talking about people who are reporting the NFL games. These little nobodys that type up reports like that shmuck from NBC Sports. That's who I'm talking about it. I admit I went a bit too far with the rules and stuff, but still my main focus was these writers and the 49ers crying and whining about the Jets success so far & making up the Tampering charges. That's my beef.
^ they wouldn't do that. They wouldn't just make up the tampering bullshit to piss of the Jets due to their early success. If that was the case, the Saints - who have had less success than the Jets throughout their lifeime, would be getting pissed on too.
They're following the formula all sportswriters follow. If the team you've heaped praise on loses 1 game you explain away how and why it happened. If they lose 2 weeks you explain more but inject a healthy amount of your own football knowledge and show how if only this foolish team would hire you, you'd lead them to victory. If they lose 3 weeks in a 3 you find a new team and never mention anything you ever said in defense of the initial team. Get paid. Smile. Repeat.
