I thought I heard Ryan say "I will play guys that will help us win". It sounded like a dig at Greene. He may be on the shitlist for all we know.
I don't think so. The Jets have been manipulating their inactive list for the most part to fit their defensive gameplan. Greene's been hurt and has been the #3 anyway, so no need to really rush him into the lineup. If they feel they have a spot for him and he's not hurt anymore then he'll get on the field.
Maybe. I hope he's not in the doghouse... I'm really looking forward to seeing this guy finally get some carries.
This will be a game where we really could use Greene. Especially if it's raining and need to move the pile.
- Ryan has already made it clear that in week 1 Greene was inactive due to extra defensive players activated to make up for Pace and Ellis being suspended. - Last week they dressed 10 cornerbacks to compensate for the passing game of New England. - This week we're facing a very strong running attack and I expect them to bring in extra LBs/DEs to deal with White/Johnson. - Next week we face probably to strongest passing game in the league in New Orleans, and I would expect 10 cornerbacks to dress again. - Pace comes back for the Dolphins' rushing attack, and Miami's passing game is weak, and our starting corners should be healthy for that one, so I expect Greene to be activated in week 5.
