I hat when people lump ocho into the same category as TO. Ocho is a shameless self-promoter and a shrewd businessman. TO OTOH, is a selfish cancer that will throw anyone under the bus to save face. The only comparison is that they are both excellent, flamboyant WRs.

What Chad does is brilliant really, whether you enjoy his antics or not, he has caused strong feelings towards himself (his product) which is always good for business. He may be a little distracting at times, but he appears to be a team player and really does nothing wrong to anyone. TO is just a dick that tears teams apart.

    My proof:
    Ochocinco team count: 1
    TO team count: 5

...didn't even feel the OP was worth addressing.

  2. Christ...everyone calm down..we've won 2 games over 2 pretty good teams, but we are STILL the 40 years w/o a super bowl Jets. If people wanna hate on us, go for it...but we havent done anything yet.

Good point. Our most remembered moments, besides Namath of course (before my time, and most people's times), are fucking gut wrenching, frustrating and just downright suck. I'd say it's safe to say, we deserve at least a few fucking moments of glory. And, another safe thing to say is, we're used to seeing the other glove drop, so cautious optimism it is, of course, because we're so damn used to somebody shitting in our apple pie. It's too early to say it, but hopefully that's gonna continue to change. I like it SO FAR.

you really think that after two games and a bit of trash talking that the jets are the most hated team around the league? we haven't done enough to be hated on that level yet.

    About what exactly?

Of course, congenital defects, clots and LDL cholesterol also fit that description. he writes. What the hell does that even mean.

The only thing he has right is that draft day is a very special day for Jet fans because of location..and Jet fans love their team so much they come out to see it. If it were held in Green Bay..he could say the same about them.

Theres always a risk when you talk a lot of crap...but I will take that any day of the week compared to the press conferences we have had to endure since Parcells left.

I do not need a HC telling me we play to win the game...and I surely do not need a HC who claims to be a defensive specialist playing a cover 10 defense.

Im getting old man....I need wins..and could give two #@$$ how or where they come from.

whatever, REAL football fans arent bothered by a team with swagger that plays hard.

hell, i even have a friend whos a phins fan and he texted me monday night. "your jets look fucking fierce and dominant". and this guy phins fan aside, knows his football.

co-workers of mine who are fans of teams like the cowboys, colts, bucs, and steelers; all took notice of what weve been doing. especially castrating tom brady last sunday.

all this is, are writers who are used to referring to us as a doormat. or theyre secretly fans of a team who is in a decline. so they find some funny spin, they either ride our dick or try to crucify us in advance. either way, they all find a way to write an after the fact "yeah, i was wrong" article.

fuck anyone who doesnt like the NEW New York Jets.

They'll hate the Jets if they win and they'll laugh at us if we lose. It creates accountability for the entire organization and I think that's a good thing.

If you add in the Favre injury fiasco and a few tampering charges then yeah, maybe we are.

Idiotic, thus it meets with the standards for the rest of the "news" reported by PMSNBC.

Well, being nice guys didn't work, being quiet guys didn't work, being uncoached guys didn't work, being out of shape didn't work, having a bunch of old guys on the team didn't work; evidently we now have something that is starting to work and out non-fans don't like it.

For God's sake, we have been bottom feeding for so long we hardly had a chin left. We have awakened and all the ohters can go piss off. You are going to get beaten up whether you beat us or we beat you, you will walk off the field hurting.

By the way the writers name is Michael Ventre.

I never read him before and probably never will again.

He is that kid who has to cut someone else down to feel better about themselves! Pathetic if you ask me!

The general public has been spitting on the Jets for the better part of their existence. Time to return the favor. They've never been the loveble losers, rather the laughable losers. Even in good years we tend to be considered the worst of the best. The last thing I want is for all of those who laughed at us for so long to turn coat and try to join the party. If anything this keeps the bandwagon at a minimum.
