Belichick says he spoke with Rex Ryan, Mark Sanchez in the tunnel after the game....yeah right!

?Yeah, I saw Mark and Rex after the game in the tunnel after the game was over,? Belichick said. ?I talked to both of them. With Rex, there were a lot of cameras around, and the (Jets) were jumping up and down celebrating? No, I saw them after the game and in the tunnel.?

Ryan said he spoke to Belichick after the game. People make too big a deal out of this stuff, I don't think there's any animosity there. Ryan has given Belichick his props, he just isn't scared to go up against him, even with a rookie QB. Good. I liked Mangini but got tired of his reverence for Belichick. Throw in the fact that WE WON'T EVER BE GOING INTO THE PREVENT DEFENSE and I hope we keep Rex Ryan for a long, long time.

Speaking of which, aren't the Jets wearing the Titans crap again this week? I think so, and I think Tennessee will be dressed as the Oilers as part of the AFL tribute. I'm kind of stoked to see the Oilers unis but not ours again. They should do the 80s Jets for this one, you know it's coming eventually.

No offense, but did I stumble on a sewing board or needlepoint club or something?

Can't believe football fans whining like this about a post-game handshake, especially when their coach and QB don't have any problem with it.

You won. Enjoy it. You have another game next week you know.

Truth be told, we are a bit out of practice in celebrating a Jets over the Pats victory at home (especially early in the season) so it is understandable that this may linger another day or 2. When the Titan look-alike thread goes up we are in full next week mode.

So the Jets will be the Titans and the Titans (not the Jets) will be the Oilers (from Houston not Tennessee, though they were the Tennessee Oilers for awhile, when they played in Memphis before moving to Nashville even thought there is no oil in Tennessee, and the Houston team is the Texans, not the Oilers or the Titans or the Dallas Texans that the Kansas City Chiefs were before they were the Cheifs and who the Jets, not the Titans, beat 2 weeks ago) and they will be playing the Jets, who will be the Titans. Got it?

I just wish they brought back the old helmets... I hate the JETS logo on these new ones...

I like the newer version of the old uni's. We have the nicer darker green, green facemasks. I prefer the solid green socsk to the stripes w/ the white pants though. the striped socks should be worn when we wear green pants only.

I agree on the helmet. i'd like to see the 80s helmet w/ the darker green we wear now.

There are at least two threads about it, and I don't know how you define whining, but...

LOL, well I'm probably not nearly as upset as you would like me to be. It's a week two loss. And nothing will ever be harder than 18-1. Sorry, if you're disappointed I can pretend to be more like you and lack perspective.

Did you book your Super Bowl flight yet?:wink:

It's a simple matter of class, and the HC of your team has none.
