I have to go with JaMarcus Russell, with Delhomme a close second. If Russell was anywhere close to accurate, the Raiders would be a pretty formidable opponent this year. I'll admit, the Raiders are a better team than I thought they'd be, but this guy is holding them back. I really don't know how you can teach accuracy. Maybe things change in the next few weeks, but that performance Sunday was flat out awful. If he didn't play well in the last series, they'd be calling for his head in Oakland. They still may be. I still say he could be a good solid QB if it weren't for the accuracy issue.
I wonder if Joe will make an appearance...it would be hilarious if he disappears this early into the season, but understandable based on the play of Raiders/Jets in relation to his predictions...not looking good for him so far.
I wonder how much of a factor the Browns are in Quinn's play. Admittedly, I haven't watched a Browns game yet, but I wonder if his numbers suck because of the team. Same for Stafford. I still admit, the Raiders are NOT a bad team.
Jarmcus seems to play his best inside the final 3 minutes of the game but the rest of the 57 minutes he sucks. Raiders should have stolen the game Vs Chargers in wk1 and be 2-0
This is true. I was trying to say that even if he had slightly below average accuracy he'd be solid, but he's WAAAAAY below average.
Russell by far, Dellhome had a descent game Sunday so he still has a shot to turn this season around.
It has to be Jake Delhomme... JaMarcus Russell doesn't have two first rounder tackles - Gross and Otah, an elite wideout - Steve Smith, and two dominant running backs - DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart. Delhomme has a solid offense around him. He just flat out sucks...AJ Feely will be their quarterback sooner than later. The Panthers have been set up to fail - no first rounder this year and no first rounder in 2010. You don't trade first round picks for second round picks! If Michael Vick wants to be a starter again, this is where he'll end up.
Yeah, I was shocked that he didn't end up there to begin with. For a QB that was interested in a shot at playing on a good team, it was the place to go. I doubt he stays in Philly after this year unless he ends up starting and playing well this year. Good chance he may end up in Carolina.
Compared to his normal play, yes. Compared to the other NFL QB's, he's still good. Most NFL QBs wouldn't have played as well as he did in those circumstances Sunday. He was rushed the whole game. He was out of his element of having all day to pick apart the defense.
One Dorito every target you hit . I agree though, Russell is no starting QB at this point in his career... Stafford is playing pretty bad but he's a rookie and he plays for the Lions :S Delhomme is embarassing as of now an Quinn should do better considered he has some weapons on offense (but no running game). Jason Campbell is playing like crap, I think Zorn isn't cut to be a HC. Bulger isn't playing that well but can you blame him with the talent level he has around him? Garrard should step it up but with injuries to Williamson and no other WR except an aging Holt there isn't much he can do. So giving Stafford a rookie exemption my worst 5 are Russell, Delhomme, Campbell, Garrard, Bulger.
I agree, Garrard and Bulger are probably victims of bad teams, but there's no way to determine that for sure. I think Bulger's probably done as a starting NFL QB, but not Garrard. My bottom 5 are Russell, Russell, Delhomme, Delhomme, Russell.
I think Delhomme can get off that comically awful two game schneid. He was fine last week. Russell is bad and hopeless with that team around him. Stafford's going to be one of the worst in the league this year, but that's not really his fault. Quinn sucks. Leftwich sucks.
I thought that too at first, but actually I think Pennington is solid. Not great, but not bad either. I guess my definition of solid is average.
