Denver is 2-0....and I was one of the people that threw McDaniels under the bus for all the B.S. that went on in Denver in the offseason. I know it's early....but just maybe...that team isn't going to "implode" afterall.
They played like shit against an enigmatic Cincinnati team and got lucky, and now they beat an absolutely god-awful miserable Browns team. Granted they could still sneak into the playoffs if they can handle a division whose most talented team is dragging a Norv Turner-shaped anchor, but I doubt it.
Not to mention the other game was against the Browns. The Lions would be 2-0 if they played those two teams.
They've played Cincy and Cleveland. I'll reserve judgement for a few weeks after they have played some NFL football teams.
So what?! The Titans lost to the Steelers and Texans....does that mean they're a garbage team? It's all momentum. I didn't think the Broncos would win a single game this year with Orton as their QB.....
Say what you will be I agree with the OP.... You can't be any better than 2-0 through 2 weeks. Alot of people we're calling for a 3-13 season from them (myself included). Looks like they will be competitive as long as that D holds up. Their 3-4 is looking nice.... Dumervill had 4 sacks today! FOUR.
no, it doesn't prove your point. You discredited the Broncos' record because of who they played. Well, by your logic...because the Titans lost 2 in a row....one of them being the Texans (who we raped last week)....they should be considered a subpar team.
Bucs should have the No.1 pick on lock unless Spags and STL just flat out blow. CLE isn't too far back though. Seahawk fans must be throwing shit in the fan though because they have the Broncos 1st rounder in 2010.
They lost to the Steelers and a good Texans team. I can't help the Jets dominated them because of their superior skill week 1. Haha. The overall point of your thread is right though. No way I expected them to be 2-0 or their D to hold opponents to such low points. I still expect them to be average at best though.
DEN gets KC and OAK 2x a year though, that could be an easy 3 wins of 4 games so that could place them at 5 wins..........They get MIA too who could be a 1 yr wonder. DEN has a very, very, very soft schedule.
getting lucky against Cincy and beating Eric Mangini is not very impressive. Even Ryan Leaf went 2-0 in his first two games.
