Rex may have to get on the phone to Chris McAlister's agent. I will die if we have to have Drew Coleman starting as our CB2 in the near future.
Jenkins i'm sure was just the back acting up.. I will be upset if Strickland or Lito is hurt for any extended period of time because of how well they have played the first two weeks.
Yeah all that talk about Lito not having anymore was totally wrong. That dude made some great plays and Strickland too. I hope they're both okay.
Stickland, Shepard, Revis, Lowery is looking pretty solid. A good #2 CB in one of the next two drafts would really solidify CB.
We also need a big DT to give jenkins rest and eventually take over that spot......not a big college football watcher, any1 know if there is potential out there?
Did all these guys really play up, or did Rex's D position them to play better than expected? I think the latter. Although I was frustrated by the lack of sacks, the pressure was awesome! Don't get me wrong, these guys made plays. I just think they had a lot of help and the Pats had to go their way - Randy Moss was nonexistent!. On a side note - how about the announcers talking about Moss "breaking off" his pattern on Revis' int. MOSS WAS CLEARLY TAKING THE PLAY OFF!
There were some standard 4 man rushes and Brady had all day to throw but couldn't find anybody...the defense was great in every aspect today
Rex was asked in the post game, he said Strickland has an ankle injury, Lito has the quad injury, and Jenkins just got the wind knocked out of him.
As long as they are OK for week 4 when we face the Saints and Brees... next week should be ok for the DB since we go against a run first team (Titans)
All we know so far is that Lito has a quad problem and Strickland had an ankle problem..let's hope they are OK because Coleman is awful.
