First off someone please remind Rodney that he's supposed to be a member of the media and that he doesn't play anymore and secondly NE won a SB w/o him- how many playoff games did he win in SD? He was a rookie in 1994 but didn't play so the answer is ZERO- in fact he never played in a postseason game until he went to NE and climbed on Brady and Co's backs to win Championships.
No, it probably shouldn't be taken as Rhodes or the Jets will be going for his knee but you can see that it could be taken that way. I have a ton of respect for Kerry Rhodes and how he plays the game but if they were going for anyone's knees I'd have a problem with it.

From the exact words, there was no mention of anyone going for his knees. It was nothing more than saying he isn't going to be able to step into his throws when there're bodies so close to him, and they are going to get close to him. It was a stupid comment, for sure, but in no way did he even imply they were going to hit his leg.
