You either like The Office or you don't. It is the same crap every week, no doubt about that, but some people like it. Jim is the worst character by far. He has only had 1 thing since the first episode and it was never funny.
It had it's funny points but I was overall disappointed...it's turning into too much of a normal storyline show and not a comedy. The Creed/Andy/Kevin and "Cynthia" parts were hilarious though.
Gotta love Andy's sexual confusion so far this season. Best moment was when Toby and Dwight yelling asshole at Daryl's wife and speeding off.
The cold open killed me as well. "In your experience, is there any sensation me or my doctor will feel?"
Office was pretty good last night. The colonoscopy bit was hilarious. Dwight and Darryl were pretty hilarious together as well. I'm not trying to derail this thread by any means, but I think Parks & Recreation just wrote Louis C.K. into the show. This show was good before, and with him on board, it will only get better. I really hope he didn't just make an appearance for this 1 episode. Last night's episode was pretty great.
What people find funny is an interesting thing. I liked most of last week's episode, but I thought this was one of the worst episodes in years. The colonoscopy bit was funny, as was Andy's confusion about his cousin, but otherwise absolutely nothing made me laugh or even interested me. The wedding invitation stuff was boring, the Dwight/Darryl stuff didn't do anything for me, and for the second week in a row Michael was not charmingly clueless and bumbling, but rather so desperately needy that he thought nothing of destroying someone else's life.
I don't know, ever since the writer's strike last year The Office has been entertaining but not that funny, I used to crack up over it now there's just a few funny scenes an episode, hopefully things turn around.
that was his sister. I've been watching, as always, but I download the episodes after they air and watch them like that, so I haven't gotten to this week's yet. I agree with jeff about the second episode. The Dwight/Darryl storyline wasn't funny to me in the least.
Yeah, I'm not too thrilled watching an hour-long episode surrounding two of the most boring characters of the show. I'll be watching the Sox lose.
I have no idea how it will turn out, but the word on the street is that Michael and Dwight go the Wedding Crashers route and try to pick up all the women they can at the wedding. That could be funny. I'm sure that there will also be heartwarming stuff that many will find a crashing bore. Just wait - the baby arrives during February sweeps! I'll bet many of you can't wait!
