So game 2 and Kris Jenkins already has a sore lower back. THIS is why I wanted to draft a DT in round one.

He says he'll play, but we need this guy in game 14-15-16 unlike LAST YEAR

    It's just that simple!!

I'm not worried about Jenkins. He will play, and he will dominate.

I thought the same as you and then noticed that his 2 most productive games were weeks 16 and 17.

I don't think there's any doubt that Ryan will make sure Tannenbaum targets a NT in the early rounds next April (provided there's a prospect). Mr. E would know better, but I feel like from what I've watched so far this NCAA season, I've seen several teams run a 3-4 or some variation of it.

What Tannenbaum has mostly done over the last 3 seasons is target positions of immediate need in the early rounds. The one exception is Shonn Greene last year and the Jets had contract questions going on with both of their established backs at the time the pick was made.

I make him out as more likely to go DE, OLB early as opposed to NT.

I wouldn't be second guessing the sanchez pick at this point for a DT

even if jenking has a season ending injury, you still have a kid at qb who has a bright future and can draft a dt with immediate impact in next years draft

Statistics for Kris Jenkins are misleading. The most important thing #77 can do for our defense is toss the occasionally center into oblivion, forcing double and occasionally triple teams. There's no statistic for what Jenks did to Chris Myers last Sunday, and it's that sort of contribution he couldn't produce down the stretch last year.

Yup. He wasn't nearly as effective at the end of the year. I'd be willing to bet the increased tackle numbers are because people weren't afraid to run at him anymore.

Welker is questionable too. It's a pissing match between Ryan and Belli. Most players probably have sore backs after playing an NFL game

I don't disagree. What I was saying was I thought he sat out long stretches of those games but apparently he didn't or he couldn't have had the stats he did.

...because BJ Raji is so much better than a franchise quarterback.

Questionable is a 50% chance he plays right?
