Next year I'm running a one day fantasy league. Draft your players and then simulate every game on Madden. Hell, I may do it this year.
Guess some people will have lots of free Sundays this season. Just play Madden and forget about Sundays, plus you can still listen to Collinsworth's inane commentary.
do you even understand the concept of logic? you can't tout Madden's ability to predict a game by using it keeping the game close between the Bills and Pats as an example but ignoring that it incorrectly predicted how well the Texans would do but simply using the result. clearly it doesn't accurately predict how well a team will play.

Ouch. If it accurately predicted over 90% of the results last week, whether or not it accurately predicted every aspect of the game or not, I thinks it's interesting if nothing else. The thread title was written as a joke. I don't think the Jets are going to lose because of a Madden simulation, but I do think the Madden simulation is a really cool outside the box way to predict outcomes. It's not exactly flipping a coin. A lot of thought goes into each players attributes and it shows when the simulation outcomes mirror real life.
that's the point, how right were they really? you wanted to applaud the games "reasoning" with the Bills loss but that the game kept it close, but the game's reasoning couldn't maintain that ability across other games, as it predicted a much better performance for the Texans, so clearly there is a very arbitrary aspect to that "reasoning," thus it is meaningless.
