That's just what I was going to say.

Remember knocking Bledsoe out of the game was one of the best and worst moments in JETS history.

But I hate the Dolphins more!

Alright, so basically your stance is that nobody knows if he's in communication with him during the game. You're right I haven't seen him do it, but articles have stated such. I'll take their word over yours any day.

What do you do for a living? I ask this because you seem to think you know something about "work flow" and the feasibility of methods that you've clearly stated that you and everyone else on earth minus 2, don't know?

People have been known to count cards, of multiple decks. Ever seen an NFL playbook? I can assure you not every play is seen on the field on any given day, but the amount of plays you will see is far less to remember than 2 decks of playing cards.

Sounds crazy, right? Yes. But not nearly as impossible or unlikely as you would believe.

Now why did you have to go out and make a point? Now he is going to call you twin engine or piper as a derogatory statement against the Jets. However, don't feel bad because....I....am....Aluminum.....Man :)

I can't take credit for this, but...

For those of you who missed it, the Redskins 52-7 loss to the Patriots at Foxboro on Sunday included an alleged strange circumstance of the communication between the Redskins coaches up high in the coaching boxes and the ones on the field being broken off due to their phone systems between the boxes and the sidelines going out.

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/10/28/AR2007102801563.html

    ...

But this isn’t the first time this kind of thing has happened. Read on.

    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writers/dr_z/09/13/cheating/index.html

“At one point we had a good drive going against the Patriots,” said one Lion who doesn’t want his name involved in this mess, but was willing to talk about it. “Mike Martz really had ‘em going. They were getting fouled up, lining up wrong, we were moving the ball. Then boom, the headset from the sidelines to the coaches’ booth goes out.
“Next possession we were moving the ball again and the same thing happened. You know it only takes two or three plays to mess up a drive.”

Matt Millen, the Lions’ GM, says he was talking to another team’s head coach at the league meetings. He started telling him the story.
“Yeah, I know,” the coach said. “Headset went out. It happened to me in Foxboro, too.”

Coaches like the Jaguars’ Jack DelRio, the Lions’ Rod Marinelli and the Bengals’ Marvin Lewis swapped stories of mysterious equipment breakdowns in Foxboro.

I'm sure it's all a coincidence, right LeonLuvsPats*? Nothing to see here. Move along....

    ^^^^^

I wouldn't be surprised if the field goal posts are remote controlled to shrink and expand the distance between the poles. verrry slow, veerrry unnoticeably.

    What's next?

I heard the aliens from Roswell are actually using alien force fields to deflect passes. I also heard that the Pats have a guy in the Goodyear blimp with a mirror reflecting sunlight into the players eyes. I can tell stories too.

Employment of hyperbole is not an argument, it's an escape tactic. Nice try.

My point is that if he were doing what you and aluminum man suggest, the amount of communication between Ernie and BB would be substantial. He would be nearly as involved as a coordinator. Even if the reports of his communicating with BB on occasion are credible, that does not indicate the activities aluminum man claims. You really don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure that out.

I did not say that it would be impossible for him to memorize formations, I'm saying it is unrealistic to say he could be relaying this info to BB during the game in any meaningful manner. He is not isolated in the booth all by himself. Do you not think someone, anyone, would come out to say what he is saying? Do you not think someone, anyone, would notice such a significant level of involvement? I guess Goodell really likes BB. He wouldn't think of investigating this if it were credible. He'd jump at the opportunity to slam BB once again.

The last time I checked the visiting team doesn't sit in the same booth as the home team. Who is going to rat out the rat? The other rats?

Nice try aluminum man. The people in the media booth are not all under the employment of Mr. Kraft. Now before you say the media is in this too, let me remind you of Tomase, the Herald reporter who bogusly reported the video taping prior to the 2001 SB. You know, the one that got discredited and forced him to apologize. Some reporter trying to make a name for himself would sell out the Pats in an instant if they witnessed this.

What is the view from the media booth? Can someone really read hand signals from that far up? I hate the view from good seats in the stands. You're reaching on the Ernie thing. He may be up to something, but not what you are saying.

Regardless of the final score today, If the Jets go out and make the Patriots bleed, and wince and have to spend forever in the training room with massive amounts of injuries, then today was a success. Hell I want these bastards scared shitless of the pain we will inflict the next time we see there, even more than I want a win. I would rather lose today and go down with one of the most violent hitting displays we have ever seen, than win without making the Pats fear for their own lives when they step on the field the next time they have to play the Jets!!!!

I want the Patriots Severed Head delivered to the feet of Rex Ryan today!

Taken from a Boston Globe article today.

When reached for comment and asked if there were communication issues last year, Vrabel said, ?You?ll have to ask Bill if he was referring to the helmet communication or the guy with the headset. I don?t know.??

After a request for clarification, Belichick went on WEEI for his weekly chat and elaborated.

?We really had some problems last year,?? Belichick said. ?Miami, Pittsburgh, and San Diego were games where we got fouled up and gave up big plays. I?m not saying it was any one guy, but communication hasn?t really been a problem this year.??

According to a team source, there were a few games last season when defensive communication issues hurt the Patriots, but those were in the secondary and not related to anything with Vrabel.

Vrabel, who was traded to the Chiefs during the offseason, said there sometimes was a delay in the play being relayed in from the sideline.

?A lot of times when you?re trying to use the system and the defensive coordinator is waiting for the call from the head coach the call tended to get in a little late, you know, when you?re waiting on Bill to decide whether to blitz or not,?? Vrabel said. ?I don?t know if that?s what he was referring to or not.??

Sounds like Ernie Adams was deciphering the offensive formation and was a little slow getting the communication to Bill. Who in turn was late getting the inforamtion to Mike Vrabel. Makes you wonder if Belicheat is still cheating. Hmmmm!
