I saw it. It was aight. Pam and the dude are growing stale on me. However, Parks and Recreation has been pretty good. I liked last season and yesterday's episode was funny as hell.
Yeah I watched it last night. This show used to be hysterical but now it's getting kinda stale, I agree with rmagedon6. They need to mix it up somehow. I watched Community also and from the commercials it looked like it was going to be hysterical but it was lame and the comedy seemed really really forced. All of the good jokes were in the commercial.
Community was tough to watch. That indian kid was annoying right off the bat. The lawyer got more and more annoying as the show progressed. The blonde is hot tho. Chevy actually made me chuckle a few times. John Oliver (from the Daily Show) never disappoints. It has potential, so, I'll keep watching it and see how it pans out.
the one thing notice is that the Michael Scott character is shifting from "funny" to a "total asshole/idiot" type character. The writers are ruining him. I started noticing it last season.
I can't wait til Heroes, 30 Rock, and SouthLAnd return, so I can look forward to my Thursday night lineup again. No one watches Parks and Recreation? U guys are missing out. I'm glad they got rid (I think) of that stupid show with the two broads that looked like trailer trash. I forgot what the name of it was.
The season premiere killed me. Michael saying "Cynthia" at the end twice absolutely killed me, and Andy was of course hilarious. I really don't think it's getting stale; I enjoyed it. Parks and Recreation was pretty funny, and Community looked OK, I don't think comedies are ever as good as they can be in the first couple episodes, so I'll give it another shot or two.
I did. Love the show- last night's episode was great but not a homerun. Opening scene when they were trying to copy the acrobat's moves they had seen on the net was priceless.
I did out laughing towards the end when Kevin started explaning how he knew Pam was pregnant because her breasts looked swollen...that shit had me cracking up. Kevin is one of my favorite characters on the show. He's not on enough.
+1 "I started noticing Pam's boobs getting bigger by the padding of her bra...but then i remembered she doesn't need extra padding".
On another note, I think The Office (Original English Version) is going to air on The Cartoon Network (Adult Swim--if I have the wrong channel, someone please clarify) sometime this month. Now that shit is hilarious. I'll be sure to DVR that.
I agree with most of what's been posted here - Andy and Kevin were hilarious, and Michael was too much of a jerk (as opposed to being clueless). Dwight was virtually invisible. Jim and Pam have always IMO been best as the voices of reason when Dwight and Michael have completely lost touch with reality, and since there wasn't really any of that yesterday, their roles were pretty flat.
