Actually, I was a Packers fan for a while because I liked Bart Starr. I have been a Pats fan since 1983. Don't know why that would concern you. Are you insinuating I jumped on board because of 1 superbowl win in 2001? Why shouldn't anyone be able to like a team at any particular time? Is there a fan rule book that I'm not aware of or are you just trying to show how "cool" you are to the other Jets fans by trying the old "intimidation on the message boards" act, which by the way is pretty old.
Yes I'm sure you traveled through all 6 new england states to take a poll to see who is actually a fan of the Patriots from their pre-superbowl winning days. I have been on this board off and on for a while and have read many posts from Jets "fans" who were ready to throw in the towel when the Jets were sucking so lets not pretend that bandwagoners don't exist across state lines:rofl:
It's funny how the Pats haven't won a superbowl since they lost their camcorders. Either way, it's on this weekend.
No whats funny is that happened in week one and we went on to win 18 games in a row to at least make it to the Superbowl. Lets at least give credit where its due:metal:

I am guessing that Ryan probably put Rhodes up to this. I don't think people really understand what he is doing here. Ryan has given them a ton of so-called bulletin board material. Now Jenkins and Rhodes has too and I wouldn't be all surprised if somebody else doesn't say something new today. If the Jets then lose it won't mean a thing because we are supposed to lose. Some people thought the Jets would lose their first 5 games. But if they win....well, NE should just line up their sorry ass team and march them off a cliff because they will be the laughingstock of the NFL. If a team can intimidate you like that for months and you still can't beat them then there is no better place for you to be.
If Rhodes wants to embarras the Pats then he himself must step up his game, going from what's been "run of the mill" or "average" safety play last year into this year, and into something more "Reed-esque." I'm sure that in this new season, with the addition of Leonard and the others, that might not be as difficult to accomplish compared to last year.
They did have a great O that year, there's no doubt. But let's forget the past and live in the present. The Jets are going to demolish the Pats this weekend.
