Was it not Joe Namath that said if a team needs billboard material to fire them up than they don't belong on the field on gameday? The Pats are going to embarrass us on Sunday. I have been a Jets fan since I saw Joe Willie on the Brady Bunch when Bobby faked a terminal illness to get Joe to see him...and since then I have to say every time I see them talk this much smack it bites them in the rear, and I hope it's not the same on Sunday.
Not quite the same brand of cheating? So you are saying the jets cheated the same way you are accusing the Patriots of cheating. I didn't know there are different categories of cheating. I may as well argue with my wall because at least the wall makes more sense than your post. Point fingers at the Patriots and call them cheaters and then when your team is caught doing something illegal all the sudden you want to re-define cheating? I find that sad but amusing in a way.
Steelerblackandgold-Are YOU serious? They listed Brady on the report because he WAS injured. Thats a lot different than NOT putting someone on it who is injured per NFL rules. See the difference? They do teach you to read in Pittsburgh right?
HAH, every couple of years Bobby Brady comes up. I hated that show, but Bobby Brady became immediately cooler just breathing the same air. 'I know you are, but what am I?' never won any wars. I'll be the first person to say I want to punch Calvin Pace in the face for starters, but bait and switch, try harder. Enjoy the skidmarks in your underwear. It's pretty much the same stain of your ill-gotten Championships.
Stuff like this means way too much to fans. Sure they both wanna win and shit talking is in the background, but they spend so much time more time on pragmatic, you know, actual football related stuff, that whatever so and so says means jack shit at the end of the day.
Jetophile-Last time I checked (which was tonight) there were no skidmarks in my underwear but thanks for the reminder."Ill-gotten" championships? C'mon, lets try to pretend you're an adult,ok? Those championships were won because the Patriots were the best team in the NFL, not because of the Oakland snow game so-called -referee-blown-call, or because someone may have had a camera on another team. Is that all you Jet fans can do is resort to name calling because the Patriots have a good team and you don't like the fact that Brady is our QB and BB is our HC? Get over it for crying out loud. Maybe you guys will win this sunday and if you do its because you were the better team, no excuses. If we win, I expect to hear how we cheated or the referees gave the game to us. Such is the life of the Patriots and their fans. We are hated for winning. I am glad we are hated for being winners and not loveable losers though
I don't give a shit if the Pats are 16-0 or 3-13, I still hate that team either way. I hated when they sucked, and I hate them now and forever. Just like the damn Dolphins.
Whats the matter MBGreen? Having a tough time with the really big words like "Championships" and "Ill-gotten"?
no....I'm having a tough time reading a bunch of drivel that was posted by some uneducated clown....who obviously never heard of "double-spacing" for legibility. The education kids receive in Massachusetts is astounding.
I believe it is the lack of structure in the post that is making it hard to read. Like a line break in this example.
Hemi-I can respect that you hate the Patriots. I can't say I have the same hatred for the Jets because of Joe Namath. He took the time to visit my grandmother in the hospital up here when he had a football camp at Nichols college back in the early 70's. He too the time to talk to her and was extremely nice to her and she never forgot that. That meant a lot to her. I will always want the Pats to beat the Jets and expect the same from Jets fans. Its called competition. But the name calling, mud-slinging is another thing. So may the best team on sunday win!
