i personally think rhodes comments were just sort of stupid sounding. im not necessarily against pregame hype and a little trash talk, but if you are gonna do that you need to keep it short & sweet & to the point. Rhodes is sort of like that great old Run DMC song - he talks too much. Just say "we gonna kick their ass..." and leave it at that. when you get into talking about how much you want to embarrass somebody - it just sounds stupid. Just play football Kerry. If you want to talk some smack - just keep it short. The more you say the gayer you sound. On the other hand Rex Ryan's VM message to season ticket holders was most excellent.
All I wanna say is kerry bes' not get burned for the gaming winning TD. I've been conditioned over the years to expect such terrible acts of incompetence....I think if it was a 1 game season, Rex is the man so far. 15 left.

I started getting annoyed with it (Ryan) because he hadn't won an NFL game yet, but I have to admit, I liked the Belichick rings thing. Why should he cower in his boots? I think part of that was a "read between the lines" cheating jab, if you ask me. So, now Ryan has won a game, and yes, I know it's one only game; but something about the way he comes across seems very genuine. You can sense the players are taking on the personality of what he's trying to instill. And, allowing them to be themselves. I don't have any qualms with that, because its TEAM mentality, and not, for instance, individual ME, ME, ME Terrell Owens bullsh*t ego garbage that poisons everything. I don't really think the Rhodes thing is that bad. Unlike Keymouth Johnson and his 'flashlight' comment, Rhodes didn't single out any particular individual or individuals (i.e. Brady). Besides, I hardly think Belifraud cares about 'bulletin board material'. That hump is always sure he's going to pull one out of his butt because he usually does - or gets something handed to him. He might get both on Sunday, but no way the Jets get torched. And P.S.: Sanchez handles himself very well in the press. Unlike that turd Cutler. We so should've got him!
I think it would be better if he ate Brady and shat him out on Belichick. That would be worth the 15 yard penalty.
I believe the Jets will be the front runners to win the AFC East if they beat the Patriots. It's about time the Patriots stopped getting 6 wins a year every year. I like that the Jets, Dolphins and Bills are making them strap it up tight now. No more gimmie wins for the Patriots.
Yeah, we're glad we don't have those powerhouse Bengals and Browns in our division. The AFC East was supposed to be one of the weakest divisions last year. It turned out to be a pretty good division. Stop reading the old newspapers in your bathroom. Refresh the reading material once in a while huh?
I don't get why the Jets or any other team feel the need to run their mouths before playing the Patriots. The Patriots quietly go about their business and usually end up on the winning side. The Patriots have been giving kudos to the Jets all week and I know this because I live here in Boston and watch all the player interviews. You don't have to talk tough to get up for a game. Just STFU and play. And if the Jets do beat the Pats...so what? What does that mean? They were 1-1 last year when playing the Pats, so its not like you haven't beaten them before. Another thing I'm sick of hearing about is the whole "spygate" thing. That was blown way out of proportion by you Patriot haters. It was a rule breaking thing, not a cheating thing as ruled by Goodell. Its funny how I can't seem to find anything on here about the fine just laid on the jets for not putting Favre on the injury report.."oops we forgot" seems to be ok with you guys right? While we're talking about proportion, let's talk about 125k versus half a million dollars and a first round pick. The Jets didn't put a player on the injury report. The Pats videotaped signals. Not quite the same brand of cheating, but you Cheatriot fans will do just about anything to justify those fraudulent championships to yourselves.
Favre thing are you serious. Let's see Favre wasn't listed on the injury report but played. It wasn't like the Jets made teams prepare for Farve and then he didn't play. Your reaching, man. By the way wasn't it Belicheat that listed Brady on the injury report for 16 straight weeks with a shoulder injury. Someone should fine his a$$ for that.
