Rex Ryan needs to do what he did last week vs the Texans, call blitzes like mad. DO NOT give Tom Brady all day in the pocket. 100% or not, HE'S STILL TOM BRADY!!!!!! We saw what he did vs the Bills. He was pathetic when the Bills brought any resemblance of a good pass rush, but when you keep giving him opportunities, he will take advantage. I remember the 2007 Patriots-Jets game in the Meadowlands, Tom Brady had all day to throw, because the Jets pass rush was literally non-existent and of course, he torched them, and the Pats won in a blow out. Hope 2009 is different.

Also, the running game needs to improve. Last week, until the 4th quarter the running game had trouble gaining yards, especially Thomas Jones.

Another imperitive aspect of the game plan MUST be that we score more points than they do!! Must!!

How bout an observation from the office of Capt. Obvious: Disrupt their timing on offense. Since the Patriot offense depends on precise timing patterns, why not disrupt that with playing aggressive bump and run man coverages. Our corners have the speed and size to throw off the timing of the play enough to allow our rush to hit Brady if not sack him. Revis on Moss, Sheppard/Strickland on Welker, Rhodes on Watson. Keep one LB as a fail safe over the middle and send everybody else in on Brady with both run and pass blitzes.

Guys, we are overlooking a very important aspect of the game. This team MUST wear helmets and pads. We Cannot afford to leave our QB unprotected. Can't believe I'm the first to suggest this.

And even if the Pats beat us 99 times out of 100....that still leaves 1 time! We can do it!

I think it's vital that at the end of the game we have more points.

If we don't it's going to be nearly impossible to come out with the win. Rex Ryan would need to coach the crap out of the game for that to happen.

The Pats D is pretty weak this year. Brady will probably have a better feel for things now that he's gotten that first game out of the way, but with our defense I think we'll be able to keep up with there offense

We need to hide Brady's knee brace. He's much to gimpy to take the field without it.

3 Ways we can beat them. Run the ball up there weak asses.
Get in there backfield and hit brady often
Best of them all: Score more points

What, exactly is wrong with you people? Most new posts these days are responded to with sarcasm and ridicule. Keep it up and nobody will want to post here.

the problem is that this thread was spoken about in a lot of other threads...and is stating the obvious. so instead of going through the motions of saying the exact same thing of " we need a good pass rush to win" they chose comedic way to at least make this thread have a thread of interesting material in it.

It would be more appropriate if somebody started a thread on how the Patriots can beat the Jets. Really, what did anybody see this past weekend that makes you think the Jets have to worry about the Patriots or is it still the living in fear syndrome people have around here? Unless maybe you think the Bills are the powerhouse of the NFL, do you?
