    I was over at Patsfan.com trying to see how they're reacting to the news about Mayo and saw this gem:

    It sounds like Beli is up to his usual understated asshole routine. He criticized the Texans for not preparing to play, essentially, the Ravens defense, made it sound like we'll be easy to prep for by just prepping for the '08 Ravens, and even "mistakenly" referred to us as Baltimore a few times. Should be fun to see how Ryan responds to this.

    EDIT: Just noticed that Sundayjack was the one who pointed out the "Baltimore" name dropping. Hahaha...nicely done, Jack!

    I don't know why anyone would expect anything different. I don't think it was so much a matter of Kubiak not expecting that, rather he had no answer. The Ravens raped the Texans when they played last year. I'm sure BB will have a better plan.

    That defense has been very successful. It's not easy to play against.

    Just for the hell of it:
    Bill Belichick, as coach of New England, versus Baltimore:
    2007: W, 27-24
    2004: W, 24-3

    Only two matchups, but he's done a pretty good job against a nasty defense.

    Although, to be fair, the Pats defense won that 2004 game. The offense was pretty much nonexistent for both teams.
