you have everything that can go bad for the pats, going bad and everything thing that can go good for the jets, going good.

hell, you have the jets being better in just about every phase of the game possible! why should the pats even show up?

it's a good koolaid look at the game with green glasses but, everything seemed to go well for us the houston game and we won, yet everything seemed to go against the pats that game and they still pulled it out. i just don't see all the breaks and good calls coming our way this game!

i don't see the pats offense coming out that way two weeks in a row either. they marched up and down the field on the bills and never finished the drives, they will be better this time. i don't see this game as the jets being the favorites either. your scenario is all too green, especially when we hardly ever beat them here in our own house.

i don't know what to expect this coming week and thats whats so great about it. just what kind of team do we have? we're going to get a good idea soon enough.

i want a win, but i'm not going to carried away with us being super bowl contenders yet! not even playoffs. it's only week two of the season.

I just hope Buddy pulls Rex aside and explains the finer points of placing a bounty on somebody's head. Yep, I said it...

I don't have a link, but I read on a decent Pats forum that whispers are Mayo being out for up to 6 weeks. Could be a smokescreen by BB, but you never know.

    Texans >>> Bills
Take away the last 2 drives and Sanchez had more yards.
    hmm.

You are right however, he didn't look like s. He played well, just looked rusty as someone said earlier. I just don't think he has the support anyomre to be his once great self again.

And yes that was a big game for Sanchez. His first pro start, on the road, against a highly rated team. He called it a must win himself. There is little "rookie" effect to worry about. He is supported by a top notch team. He is one of the only rookies to ever start for a team with a winning reccord in the previous year.

Thinking the Patriots will have an easy time because sanchez is a rookie is the same as thinking all the games against the pats would be easy last year because brady was out. The Patriots are a MUCH better team than just Brady. The Jets are a better team than last year. Sanchez is a better QB than a feeble old favre. We will see who prevails.

If anything there is a rookie like effect for Brady as he has been out of football not having played all year last year. His first challenging start on the road against a very scary looking d.

Should be a good game. Sorry for the profanity. No need to get angry, as we will win on Sunday.

Sorry guy's but you are forgetting one thing, Belichick is still one of the best defensive minds in the game, he will have plenty of tricks for Mr. Sanchez, as long as we can keep them off the field by pounding the run and converting third downs no doubt we will win, but if we don't I can assure you, our blitzes will get burned, because of the matchups.

Little sheppard has nothing on Joey Galloway or Wes Welker, I don't mean to burst your bubble but it's all about matchups and we don't matchup well against them when thay have the spread offense on the field.

I think I said it in other posts somewhere:

With Seymour gone, and Mayo out up to 6 weeks, this game is begging for rush attack. If TJ can punish the Pats front 7 for 4+ yards each time he carries, then all the exotic blitz packages can't hurt Sanchez all that much. It's that simple. Now, as Pats now lack a 3-4 DE that truly commands double team in Seymour, the OL shouldn't have hard time moving up to the second level, neutralizing the linebackers. Then Mayo is out - Jets better not fuck this one up.

In a nutshell, if the Jets allow TJ to dominate the game, then it's going to be an easy win for the Jets - the band of lunatics will have all game to headhunt Brady. If the Jets have to rely on the shoulders of Sanchez, expect a loooong and painful game, which will probably result in NY loss.

I don't get it either, how can he have the Jets getting all the breaks and yet still lose? I think the Pats are going to win this game, because the Pats will not be as scared of the Jets receivers as they were last night going up against the Bills receiver, Sanchez will probably have to win this game for the Jets.

The Pats offense is solely based on Pass. They don't really need their defense to win games for them so if their D gives up 30 points, that may just not be enough for us. They don't care about rushing the ball. They will pass on atleast two third of the plays. That is where they have the big edge over us. Then theres the gameplanning of so called genious, Mr. FuckmyassBelicheat, who apparently is the best at what he does.

I have already given the scenario of how we will win. The win will be based upon Sanchez's performance and whether or not he can come from behind late in the game. Jets have to have a two possession lead going in to the fourth. One possession lead will take Brady 3 minutes to erase. Two possession lead puts a lot of pressure on Brady and gives the Jets the opportunity to be aggressive on the D or even on O.

If the Jets fall behind late in the game, it is upto Sanchez to make a comeback. I think he played in only one game in he had to come from behind and won it during college. If he's the real deal, which I think he is, he should make a few good throws and win the game. I mentioned it before as well, this game can go either way. Even though we have an edge over most of the matchups, this will be an even contest. This is the Jets chance to throw away Patriots stronghold on the AFC East and get some well deserved respect.

ps. I really do hope that my predictions are wrong. I hope we shut down the Pats offense and put some shivers down Brees' throat.
