Not yet at least. It was great to see brady sulking on the sidelines and moss Moss looking quite the child. Only a fumble due to a poor decision won this game for the Pats. Clearly the Bills were tired and deflated after the fumble put the Pats in great field position for brady and his plethora of receivers but... What if he didn't fumble? The pats would be 0-1 going into NJ. That would've rocked. Maybe made the pats more hungry when they come to town? And what's the deal with jaws sukking brady off the whole game, every game, every time... See thats the "Tom" of old. That's vintage "Tom". tom, tom, tom, tom, tom.
Jaws is one of the worst when it comes to Brady. I've noticed that before and last night was just as bad. I cant stand listening to that asshole.
McKelvin is such a dumbshit. It's common knowledge that the Pats will stand a player up and strip the ball in a game situation like that.
Yes, it is the same old Patriots....They found a way to win. Absolutely no reason to be overconfident going into this game. They have owned us @ Home for the last 10 years. There's no reason to expect different results until we beat them.
But the decision to come out of the endzone definitely was right. The kickoff was at 2:06. Downing it would have given the Cheaters an extra time out. Running it out and therefore taking the clock to the 2:00 warning was correct and I thought the announcers were dead wrong on that. But, the returner must wrap both arms around the ball and fighting for the extra yard was idiotic. Run out to the 20 or 25 and go down when hit. Worst case scenario then is Cheaters get the ball with no TO on their 30 or so with about 1:20 left. Of course, one first down from the Bills and it's over. Announcers also wrong about the hands team being responsible for the play. That has nothing to do with why that guy fumbled. If Buffalo won and they should have, we would have the opportunity this week to beat the Cheaters and go up 2 games with the tie breaker. In the end, all that really matters is what we do though.
Brady showed how scared to death he is. He wouldn't even line up under center against Buffalo. I guess he'll take a punter's stance against us.
Yeah, he did not look comfortable most of the game. In the 4rth qtr though, he did start to throw the ball a lot better. If we can keep him rattled a bit, I think we may have a shot of keeping their offense in check. The Pats defense had some troubles with the Bills offense which is nothing special. One play decided this game. I have a lot more confidence going into this weekend that we do have a shot to win this game. If we can win this game, it will raise my expectations for how far we can go this year.
Jaws uis an old QB and a good analyst. Of course he's going to spend a good deal of the game talking about the huge star QB comming of knee surgery. Who did you expect them to talk about during a pats Bills game besides Brady and TO?
Yeah, as a Jet fan I hate Brady, but in terms of the journalism of the situation, it was a story Jaws had to speak to. Brady has been one of the most effective players in the game, and this was his return on the game Jaws was broadcasting. Not talking about him would have been unreasonable and really unprofessional. Now, does that mean he might have gone overboard? Perhaps. I wonder what other fans in the league would think. And at least Chucky brought up the tuck rule game. Heh. Good for him. Getting back to the OP, though, Buffalo has some flaws, and let the game get away from them. But more important is to look at what they did to get out front. Pressure up the middle is key.
we don't know what his respons were .. you know better than that ... I could say the same thing about Rhodes, did he even play against the Texans? I just hope the Pats get atleast a fg this Sunday ..
The Jets' white midget SS is better than Brandon Meriweather. You can bash Rhodes all you want, but your HC knows how good he is. I doubt Ryan is going to single out Binky Brandon and tell him he's the best safety he's faced this year.
The Pats' losing only made this weekend more sweet. Their fans suck for the most part. I am sure it kills them that the Jets have outlasted their F'ing team.
Actually, it doesn't matter. The Pats are out, and deserve to be. Watching the Jets win Saturday had no bearing on how I felt after the Pats were destroyed Sunday (I had absolutely no Jets related thoughts, as I mourned the loss). Pats fans don't like the Jets for certain, but the level of hate going your way is much less than the level of hate that comes from your side.
Pretty much all of the sports commentators I've heard today are jumping on the bandwagon of the Pats days of dominance being over.
