I was not impressed by New England's play at all today, Brady still looks rusty, the running game was not good and the defense looks like it misses Seymour a ton.
For a guy who seemed pretty disgruntled about going to Oaktown, he's having a great game. Fucking great that we don't have to see him next week.
the bad decision was coming out, he got lit up by merriweather and was practically out on his feet. coming off the field he looked like he had no idea where he was.
The Bills of the last few years remind me of the Bruce Coslet/Pete Carroll Jets. They tease you w/ decent seasons but can't build on them and they find the most creative ways to blow games.
It's amazing how much I hate the Pats and that weasel BB. The Bills make me want to puke how much they gave that away. The only positive I can take from that game is Jenkins and Harris coming right up the gut giving Brady no shot at stepping up. I don't give a Sh*t if he kills us deep just knock the crap out of him all game long.
That's exactly how I feel, but I don't think he will kill us deep. It'll be the bread and butter of the Pats...a bunch of dump off passes that will beat us. I hope someone kills Welker over the middle.
Welker and Faulk will try and kill us with a thousand cuts we just have to hang with them and beat them up so much that they start missing throws or put the ball on the turf down the stretch. This may be the first time in years when we actually field the bigger more physical Defense and a bigger OL. Hang with them beat them up and dust them at the end.
The Pats D looks vulnerable. I think that they will be very good as the season moves forward. I like the way they are attacking on defense, but because they chose to go young this year, there will be mistakes and growing pains along the way. The Jets D looks better right now for sure. next Sunday will be interesting. The Jets looked really good, but the Texans did make it a little easy for them. You just can't predict how things will unfold in the NFL from week to week... at least I've never been able to.
