I'm not feeling the Mike & Mike broadcast at all. I like the radio show, but this just has an amateur hour feel to it.
http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?showforum=1 Man... talk about a sad group of fans. This was us, once.
That could be us next week... We need to learn to not get so down when shit goes wrong, it's embarassing.
It seems the Chargers have taken away the raiders initial offensive game plan. Let's see if Cable can adjust.
I don't like making snap judgments on players so early into their careers, but everything that Raiders fans feared about DHB seems to be true. No hands, no route running ability. Somehow I don't trust the Raiders coaching staff to help him much. God damn Nnamdi Asomugha is awesome by the way. I hope that Revis watches every Raiders game so he can try to top this guy's level of play.
I don't post on that board. I wish I did, because it's funny to see a thread where BILLS fans call this the "Worst Defeat in Buffalo Bills History. Crimeny, I can think of two worse off the top of my HEAD, and probably more if I had another few minutes! So, Scott Norwood's miss, and the Music City Miracle wouldn't be worse? *cough* whahhh???!!
Throws like that make you wish that someone would teach Russell how to play QB. Because MAN can that guy throw the rock. Why are they still reviewing this? Obvious TD.
The 1980 playoff loss to SD was also tough not so much because it was freaky or anything. Rather, the Bills that year could make a solid case for having been the best AFC team in the regular season. They would have hosted the title game vs Oakland. In the regular season, the Bills defeated the Raiders at Rich Stadium by a score of 24-7. A Lester Hayes 48-yard INT accounted for the Raiders only points. Dan Pastorini did start that game at QB for Oakland. Jim Plunkett was the Raiders QB for the playoffs. But, the Bills did bitchslap Oakland all over the field in the regular season game. Had they defeated San Diego, the Bills likely would have made it to the SB and would have had a great shot to beat Philadelphia. Note- that's all off the top of my head. I may be off on the Hayes INT yardage. And I really have to go now.
