Tedy Bruschi picks the Jets !!?!!

Darren Woodson says Andre Johnson will have a huge game, and Houston will win. Maybe he's never heard of Darrelle Revis?

There may be some hope for him yet.

After hearing he was retiring, I thought that would be the last I'd see of him.

    Wrong! Wrong!!

Saw his first on-air appearance on NFL Live yesterday. It wasn't bad that I had to see this jackass against the Jets, now I have to hear him fellate the Patriots on ESPN. Just awesome. I disliked ESPN. I disliked Bruschi. Now I'm all out on my ESPN hate. Fuck that network.

Maybe he too realizes Revis has made all his Jet fan love off of one year? His rookie year was average, at best. Lets see him do this over a long period of time. This year is his test.

^^ I agree. Revis started slow, but then again, his 1st start was against Randy-freaking-Moss. By the end of the first quarter of the season, Revis had already established as a corner u don't want to fuck wit'.

Revis wasn't the one who gave Moss his stats on that week 1 matchup.

Revis is barely responsible for a lot of TDs caught by opposing receivers.

Two TDs you can point out are the Braylon Edwards TD, because it was a ridiculous catch, and the T.O. TD when they played dallas.

yes he gave up 4 tds in his nfl career in 2 years.. a 2 yard pass on a slant route to some nobody on the bills.. which you couldnt even defend... the owens one at the end of the game on thanksgiving his rookie year he played well on him though, the edwards one was a short one too inside the 10 i believe, and the last one was when elam ran into him and knocked him out when he and evans had the ball in there hands...

he was a beast from his rookie year, we all knew after his rookie year he was going to be big time

What were you watching? Darrelle Revis was mostly the #2 or Nickelback until at least November. The most notable thing he did his rookie season was get owned about 17 times against the Bengals while playing Nickel.

    QB Mark Sanchez 14/24 230 2 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
    RB Thomas Jones 0/0 0 0 0 14 54 0 0 0 0
    RB Leon Washington 0/0 0 0 0 6 67 1 3 24 0
    WR Jerricho Cotchery 0/0 0 0 0 0 0 0 7 149 2
    TE Dustin Keller 0/0 0 0 0 0 0 0 3 27 0

If Sanchez goes 14-24, 230 and 2 TD, this board and every other Jet board is going to go ape shit, in a good way. Myself included!

That's funny, I vividly remember Revis covering Randy Moss in his very first game as a pro. Your anti-Revis bias is not only unrealistic, it's based on false information. Revis started as the #1 wideout from the first live snap of his career.

Edit: Okay, not the #1, and not the starter. But he did cover Moss on his first live snap. Brady was throwing away from him most of the day.

Completely incorrect. The Pats' first offensive drive, Revis was on Moss. I almost crapped myself when I saw it. He didn't cover him all day, but he had the start lined up on Moss.

Average ? Did you watch the games his rookie year? He was a good Corner who was basically on an island on his own and did good more times then not. Last season he was great and Andre Johnson will suffer the consequences on sunday. He gets maybe 5 Catches for no more then 55-60 Yards. No scores.
