The OT Rule SUX Chris... Fuk U! Each team should get 1 possession THEN it becomes Sudden Death! That way ALL 3 FACETS OF THE TEAM GETS TO PLAY.
Yeah I really enjoyed the College OT system but that probably wouldn't work as is in the nfl. One possession each then the current system would be cool.
College OT is a joke. NFL rules are just fine. Your defense should be able to hold a team off on a key drive and vice versa. The team with the weaker D loses. Simple as that.
That's stupid. How can you tell if the other doesn't get a chance !? You win the toss, get a few yds and Kick a FG and the games over. That's horrible.
Steelers offense was gashing the Titans defense by the end of the fourth quarter, and it's carried over into OT.
U know what they say, defense wins championships. You get there by winning the most games. You win the most games if, when taken to OT, you hold the opposing team to a 3 and out. It's not out of the ordinary. Just get it done.
That's not true at all. One defence doesn't even get on the field half the time, and if there's a big kick return, they might only need one or two first downs.
"don't worry about it. Make it up in overtime" But if Tennessee had won the flip, he may not have gotten the chance.
I AGREE WITH THAT. BUT...... Why should the team who loses the toss have to do it? BOTH teams should have to do it. The Coin toss should not be the reason a team loses. If ea. Team gets 1 possession then Each team has to play once on Offense. Defense and Special Teams. If the 1st team gets a FG then the 2nd team has to get a FG or a TD, THEN you can truly say the Best Defense won..
Tennessee deserved to lose that.. what a horrible finish. Rushed 4 and gave Ben a day and a half on every snap.
