LOL..I am looking at that for 10 minutes, saying wtf is Plains? There is a Plains in Georgia, Carter came from there. There are plains in the mid-west where we grow wheat and corn but wtf does it have to do with the Jets..

Then POW...Planes...your post made it abundantly clear immediately.

here is what makes even less sense, if he really wanted to throw the Jets under the bus why not do it during the season that would have made it more effective. Now no one cares

Lol....well, sure have to agree on that first point.....and the last as well.

I guess what you say is true enough. I fault him for NOT at least trying Clemens, others would blame him for doing exactly the same. In the end, your right, the weight of the last 5 games comes down on Mangini's shoulders, and did, but that is done and over with.

I still don't agree with Favre laying this bomb out there like he did though. I think it was classless and typical of him. In my opinion, he is is mearly playing up a less severe injury, one that by his own admission he had experienced before and had continued to play with then as well, to make / prepare excuses for his poor play. I don't believe for one second that he "offered" to sit out for the good of the team last season, at least not in any manner that would have been received as a convincing indication of what he wanted to, or thought he should, do.

Tannenbaum is taking the high road and simply pointing out that Favre was a part of the decision process. Mangini is as well, and I am sure Mangini and MT talked before either commented. There is nothing to be gained by them returning the volley in the media.... doesn't mean Favre is painting this accurately.

    Dude

"Plains" are topographical features. "Planes" is a shortened nickname for airplanes aka aircraft. Depending upon the platform's propulsion system, they can have other nickname. If the aircraft has jet propulsion, the aircraft can be called a "jet".

This is what your team is named after.

Hope this clears the confusion. Better to see some fans understand the irony.

Are you even from Mass or just a wagon jumper.

Your a fucking tool, 10 years ago you probably couldn't name 2 guys on the team.

Morons?? Why the fuck is a Pats fan trolling Jet forums? Looking for some local action? If Pittsburgh wins again will you root for them?

Pattsie fans are notoriously not die-hard. Once they start losing you'll move on to something else, you can get back to your gay porn career.

I apologize if this was already talked about but how bad is Clemens that the Jets would rather play an old, tired, injured and erratic Favre than play Clemens. Good grief.

Just read a rotoworld report. Haven't perused this thread.

Great respect for Mike Tannenbaum. This situation reeks of Mangini's misguided secrecy and from the blurb, it would seem that Tanny took all the blame. Fuck Eric Mangini, and mother fuck Brett Favre. On the all-time-great-quarterbacks list I keep in my back pocket at all times, Brett Favre has dropped a notch a week for the past 30 weeks. He'll be in Elvis Grbac territory by career's end. Douche. Go sell some Wrangler's and keep your fucking mouth shut, has-been.

WE know what the difference is. We question why on fuckin earth you would use P-L-A-I-N-S as it has nothing at all to do with the Jets.

Care to explain? If you are now trying to say you did it intentionally you will have a hard time finding anyone believing you.

If you really did type that on purpose you're still saying Jets fans can't spell "plains".. that's like a double negative of insults. That's not ironic; it's just idiotic.

The irony is Favre used to be my favorite non-Jet player as recently as two-three years ago, but now after he was a Jet his diva behavior's totally turned me off to the point where I hope he splats more than anyone this side of Belichick.

I thought we had this guy in the rear view mirror already?

I hope his next 17 sundays are the most miserable of his life!

If you have to explain it, it's not worth explaining.

WEEI in Boston, Pete Sheppard, is all over the Jets shit, calling them cheaters and equating it to Spy Gate.

Yeah Pete, we cheated by putting an injured QB in the game and losing. Dildo.
