Lied to us? I was telling people after the Cincinnati game that he injured him throwing arm. It was obvious, and nobody wanted to believe it.

I should say kept it under wraps. Was there any mention by Brett or the team of this injury during the season? Not that I recall.

ESPN says the usual punishment is $10-$25,000. I gues that means the Jets will forfeit their first round draft pick for each of the next 10 years.

    You're incredible.

    That's not a compliment, either.

I totally missed how what Favre said equoted to him throwing the Jets under the bus.

And my, in general, people are so eager to piss on ex-Jet players and coaches. What the hell is with that?

It was odd that the "gunslinger" looked like Chad on a windy day.

I think that was a play off of the Jets luck. That would be a joke. I thought it was funny.

no, he's talked about how the NFL hates the Jets. It's ludicrous.

Well I didn't think he was serious. Maybe I read it wrong. I should leave it to him to explain.

It was a joke but it is not ridiculous to see how the NFL has treated the Jets over the years.

The Jets have been there own worst enemies through the years. Not sure the NFL could do anything to make it worse. Roger Vick comes to mind as a first round draft choice for starters. A damn FB no less.

Hence the injury report violation. I wasn't surprised at all that it wasn't reported, but it was pretty obvious that every time he got sacked he was running around clutching his arm. It was comical. It was a stupid thing for the FO to do, mostly a face-saving gesture because they knew fans would shit all over the stadium if 'Iron Man' Favre got hurt after all of the shoulder injuries Pennington had - but not surprising when you really look at how things unfolded last year.

I don't really care about them not reporting it. That's small beans. The problem was that they knew about it and had him throwing the ball 40 times in a driving rain. And the problem may still exist since we still have Schotty on staff...

Or, if the orders came from up on high, we still have Woody as the team owner and MT as the GM.

Well, I obviously know you didn't seriously expect them to lose their first round picks, but it's obvious that you're making it known that you think the NFL is biased against the Jets. That's ridiculous and dumb.

No, and I see your point. Seems fitting in retrospect.

My guess is that they depart the Jets having not given us a Lombardi to weep over, thus they get shat on for all eternity... like some kind Champ complex or something.
