Schaub's body will crack like an egg before the first half is over.....that's his M.O. Hopefully we'll get significant pressure on him on a consistent basis.....
His mobility will be affected though, and he'll be running for his fuckin' life all day facing our D. Should be good.
there is a good chance of that. if the blitz packages we saw against Baltimore in the preseason become more exotic and complex and are executed correctly, then Schaub could be spending the day on his back...... but I already miss Calvin Pace.
He certainly looked fragile enough. Wait until Jenkins plants him into the astroturf. They're going to need a stretcher.
** Texans QB Matt Schaub returned to practice yesterday. He took half of the snaps and will likely be listed as "questionable” for the team's opener against the Jets this Sunday. Any Jet injured for the game? I know a few of them were being cautious the first couple of preseason games, but anyone listed on the injury list?
Goddamnit, one of my options for this week in Fantasy Football are Matt Schaub. Whether he starts, or doesn't, I'm fucked.
I have Schaub too. I'm going to bench him. Not because I'm a Jets fan, but because I think the Jets will knock him out early. Rex smells blood. I also have Shaun Hill to step in. He's got a sweet matchup versus Arizona.
Everyone and his mother knows that Rex is going to try to get Schaub running for his life on every play until he tweaks that ankle again.
My 2 QBs in the money league are Schaub and Sanchez. So I give the nod to Sanchez this week, and cross my fingers we don't run the ball in the red so much...hey, its my money were talking here!
