I think they both are top 10 talent but i think the difference is that Julio can run through defenders and get the tough yards and requires 2 or more players to take him down. Speed wise i think AJ Green is faster but im not sure on that but Julio is just a physical speciemen
So far in their careers, Green has been better after the catch. Jones is 6'4 211, while Green is 6'4 207...not much of a difference.
I'm with you in that I think he'll be overshadowed by a lot of the sexier names in the draft. But if week one was any indication, he's going to turn a lot of heads this year. Penn State lined him up outside even in a 4-3, he's got that kind of quickness.
The fact that you want Crabtree on our team shows me how much you really know. (I see The GM is back...must be unrealistic mock season)
You have no life LOL That was an old post that someone quoted. I feel sorry for you on a daily basis. Your life is this message board. And you know much less than you give yourself credit for. Bear Pascoe the greatest TE to ever declare for the draft....Jarron Gilbert a surefire 1st round pick....and everything you say about a prospect is nearly verbatum from hack draft sites. I bring up small school prospects because they don't get any spotlight during the draft so people are aware of them, and like a moron you try and make it look like I say they are the greatest prospects ever. You're the man. I'm sure you've been waiting for someone to tell you that for 20 years. Consider it a present.
How is Benn's route running? I've really only seen him in highlights. It looks like he can find the soft spot in coverages but the routes look a little sloppy. Am I just looking at too small a body of work?
I've changed my WR mancrush from Brandon LaFell to Dez Bryant after watching the OK St. - Georgia game. I never thought that LaFell was better than Bryant. If we are picking 13-17, we should be looking to grab Bryant. I just thought it might be smarter for us to possibly trade down a bunch of spots next year & pick up LaFell later & get some extra picks.
I think a trade down year is needed. This team has strength in some spots but there are a lot of positions that need fortification and this team needs to have another 10 pick draft class like 06. If they have the same success as the class of 06 this team could fight the pats for the division every year. And this is a deeper draft then that one.
If we pick in the 8-15 area then a trade is very likely imho... I have no idea what kind of season these WR are going to put up but I think a very good WR can be had in the top 20-25 range of picks... We'll just have to wait and see... PS It would be cool to have Damien Williams... He recently said he was Sanchez best friend at USC and I would like to see the two team up again... plus he's undoubtably very talented... too bad he is only 6'1...
Mambo..........don't be too upset Williams is 6'1", he plays much bigger. Williams is a terrific leaper and times his jumps for the ball very well. Williams is the best route runner I've seen in College football in years.....which makes him pro-ready. I really believe if Williams is on the board when the Jets draft (15-20 range) they will strongly consider him. Sanchez and Williams have great chemistry.
How is that all anyone needs to know, that doesn't even make sense. He said Hood would be a 1st round pick and I said no, and he was right. I said Sean Smith would last to our 2nd round pick and he said no, and I was right. There were a lot more examples. I never said Lee would get drafted, I said he was a great developmental prospect who is picking up well in Denver's 3-4.
1. Lee Robinson isn't on the Broncos anymore. He was picked up by the Cardinals after Denver cut him. 2. You said Rashad Jennings was a first round talent. 3. Everyone thinks you suck.
If you're asking me, I'd rather suck as a draft prognosticator than as a human being. That's where GM's got you beat. GM, I don't think you suck.
