The guy is mean and nasty, tons of starting experience. PFT just made a post about him ready and looking for work.

This is the type of guy I think we should be signing right now. Not really thrilled about more LB's on the squad when we are only carrying 8 OL , 3 of which I pray never see any live game action.

I know he played RT for a while with the Eagles and definitly has a reputation as a grinder/nasty/scrap it out type guy. Would fit in well if we are going to pound the rock all game.

That would be a solid pickup. OT depth is probably our biggest weakness right now. That and twitter.

Doesn't he expect a lot of money?

Yes, and I think he also expects to start.

Well he's not starting for the Eagles. so maybe he takes a contract and rotates into enough plays to keep him happy.

It's also a long season. Some starter gets injured, they need a backup. OL bench weakness is a lurking danger on this team.

Got to Be unseen insider news amongst coaches ,that he's worn out or has a degenerative issue. How else could anyone explain this guy not being on a team right now. One year contract would be all I would offer and see how he pans out.

On a sidenote, Bills released their starting LT, Walker. He was due 3M this year for his base salary. Any taker? At 366 lbs, I know he can be the mauler up front in the run game.
