Philip Rivers More weapons around him, clearly demonstrated last season that he can have a great TD/INT ratio while carrying the offense on his back.
A-Rod Last year was just the beginning. Defense still can't stop the run, so they'll be catching up a lot in a bunch of shootouts. Jennings is lethal, and he also has Driver, Donald Lee, Jermichael Finley, Jordy Nelson, and James Jones. The offense has rolled the entire preseason, and it's no secret they're a pass-first team. The Chargers are still a run-first team. Rivers's TD total was a little fluky considering how much they run the ball.
Picking between the two I would take Rodgers over Phillips. I think the gap between the two is closing... if Phillips can be more consistent I might consider him.
I went with Rivers, I really think with his new contract he;s going to step up and be among the elite qb's
I was thinking Rodgers too.... Passing only going to get better and he rushed for about 250 last year too. Yahoo has him ranked higher but yahoo sucks. I think he has batter weapons around him. I'm curious to see how LT does this year though.
