I just wonder what the gestapo in the NFL front office are going to think about Kerry Rhodes and his tweets.... if news outlets are picking it up (notice I didn't say legitimate PFT) the NFL may not like what is going on here... on a related note OchoCinco says he is deleting his page thanks to the NFL cracking down on him.
I am pretty sure they have radios and so on at police stations so maybe just ask them to tune into a local sports station. And donuts, dont forget to take donuts with you. /me gets all his knowledge of US police from the Simpsons.
The Simpsons is not too far off the big emergency last time I was there is someone burnt toast in a toaster and set off their alarms. 2 cop cars, EMS, and fire dept all arrived...needless to say my town is like Springfield

Someone named "ChrebetBoy1" tweeted at Kerry Rhodes the following. Hey im tellin ya, Clemens is gone. Jets traded for K.O'Connell, watch, Jets are making trade move with denver as we speak. Rhodes responded. u may be right!!! (hint hint)
I'm not going to be able to leave the computer today until we know what Rhodes is talking about... new contract for Washington or Marshall being traded to NY for O'Connell and picks... I'll take either!
Here's a thought. Supposing that everything Rhodes says is true then the one line that strikes me as being interesting is "these things take time". I am guessing that if the Jets were to ever trade for Marshall they would insist on a window to negotiate a new contract with him. They would never give up a high draft pick for somebody who could just walk away next year (like the Raiders would). Could be they are just negotiating with him.
If they are negotiation with Marshall, I hope they announce Leon's new deal at the exact same time because I don't see it being appreciated in the locker room (or even by some fans) for Marshall to get an extension before Leon....
Washington has had a new deal sitting on the table for weeks. It's up to him to sign it. The world isn't going to stop while he thinks about it.
I don't know if anybody else saw this. On sportscenter they just said the Broncos just lifted Marshall's suspension. I hate to get my hopes up, but it's looking like he's gonna get traded.
So now Rotoworld has picked up Rhodes' tweet. He is in such deep shit if this doesn't happen. Jets S Kerry Rhodes hinted Sunday night that fans should expect "a big announcement." When a Jets fan "tweeted" on speculation that it involved Brandon Marshall, Rhodes responded, "You may be right." He later added: "Sorry 4 the hold up fans but this stuff sometime takes time but just stay tuned u will find out soon. Not trying to hold u guys in limbo!" Profootballtalk speculates newly acquired Kevin O'Connell could be Denver bound, though that would hardly be enough to sway the Broncos. Stay tuned.
So let's just say we get Marshall. What kind of difference do you see in this team in terms of expectations or wins if he comes on board?
