I like Nicks, he was my favorite receiver in the draft. But he isn't even a starting receiver yet is he? We all know rookie WR's don't usually have a big impact. The giants could very well be a dominant WR away from a superbowl this year. Nicks almost certainly won't be dominant in '09. I assume you're joking - but if not, will the corners he toasted in the 3rd/4th quarters even make the team?
Kiwanuka is a very versatile player, I wouldn't see him having a whole lot of trouble converting to 3-4 OLB. The Giants were using him as an OLB in the 4-3 before Osi went down last season.
true...Kiwanuka is quite versatile...and has come along way in his pass rushing development. Perhaps.....you may be right, Abyz.....I'm just not sure with the plethora of WR talent already on the Giants roster...they would want to invest in another wideout. i still remember when Kiwanuka stopped dead in his tracks when pass rushing V.Young when they played the Titans a few years ago...and Young ended up getting a big gain on the play. The look on Coughlin's face was priceless.
I'm not worried about what happens in the preseason.....if it had any real impact on the season, then Glen Coffee would be a top 3 back this year.
The plot thickens. Marshall was spotted at Applebee's on 42nd between 8th and 7th. Photo. http://www.jetnation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79811&page=21
BTW, after perusing Jetnation a little bit, I'm reminded how awesome TGG.com is... this is such a great site and the quality of posts here are a hundred times better than some of the nitwits that post over there.
