Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I personally agree with the coach on this subject. IMO David Harris may not be the best linebacker in the NFL with regards to coverage but I always thought he was very good. Honestly, you are the first person I've heard to refer to him as a 2 down LB. He's been an every down LB ever since he's been in the league.

I'm not expecting Mark Sanchez to win the Super Bowl as a rookie. I don't think anyone is...

I am hoping that he'll make this team a perennial Super Bowl contender though.

Sanchez has all the ability in the world to win in this league, but you have to put talent around him.

I stopped at "Arizona didn't have a good Offense... "

    No point reading the rest.

Back on topic, they are talking about it on NFL Live right now.

Did I dream that Ben Roethlisberger won the SB in his rookie year?

I like how some of these guys just come out of the woodwork, who RARELY post here, and all of sudden feel the need to post assinine comments.

Why don't you guys make yourselves useful.....and click the ads.

At least Petro can benefit from our suffering.

Just because he's on the field on every down doesn't mean he's a every down backer.

    ...hope that makes sense.

Someone answer my question. Who can step into Harris' place?

Well, no one will be able to replace him RIGHT AWAY, but in my opinion, he can easily be replaced.

Westerman will probably be the starter if he's shipped out.

I know a bunch of guys will get cut on Saturday, so maybe we'll bring in someone new?

    Ehh, I'm bored.

I bet you're sitting on pins and needles, huh? If Harris goes, you'll have to brainstorm for a new name...

Also I'm all for getting a true #1 WR and would be willing to do the trade, if he was the missing piece to a SB run this year. However, when I consider the baggage he brings with, giving up Harris, Marshall's potential contract, the message the contract would send to Leon, the fact we have a rookie QB, our intent to ground and pound this year and so on and so on, it just doesn't make sense.

I will literally throw up if we trade Harris for this schmuck. 2-down linebacker or not, the man lays the leather on those two downs and is going to be a huge part of Ryans plans to be a dominant defense. You can't get to 3rd and long without being dominant on 1st and 2nd down.

Harris looks faster than ever out there to me.

I'm cursed with that. Anytime I buy a jersey, you can bet that player is going to be dealt.

    Moss
    Abraham
    Vilma
    Harris?

I'm just going to stop buying jerseys.

Or...you can be proactive and buy a D.Coleman or V.Gholston jersey.

I'm reading a Denver Broncos fan site...

Evidentally someone texted the Denver Fan radio station saying that he/she saw Marshall boarding a plane headed to NY.

There is absolutely nothing to suggest that this has any truth to it whatsoever.

And about the Harris thing... That's just what, according to ESPN, the Broncos said they needed from the Jets. But they can say they need anything right now. In the end, I do not think the Jets are parting with Harris, if they get Marshall or not.

...shoulda bought a James Dearth jersey.

Seriously though, can't go wrong with a custom made jersey - it's not like they can trade you.

My bad it was his second year. I honestly do pay very close attention to anything not related to the Jets. My point still remains he was the exception being so young.
