If you want to see the Jets play the Birds, all you've got to do is tweet. A lucky 13 Jets players on Twitter have already tweeted that they are each giving away three pairs of tickets to the Jets' final preseason game, against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday, Sept. 3, at the Meadowlands. That's 39 pairs of tickets in all. The tweet instructs each player's Twitter followers to follow the Jets' team twitter, @nyjets, and to send @nyjets a tweet stating they want to win that player's tickets. For instance: "@nyjets I want to win @mark_sanchez tickets." We must receive that tweet by 9 o'clock tonight, the end of this one-day ticket sweepstakes. More... Came from jets email blast.. like who needs more
Thanks for posting this. I received the same email and made a thread of it before I saw your post, but yeah, it's becoming embarrassing already. Now anybody who paid full face for the tickets and is looking to recoup at least something is SOL because the Jets are tossing around freebies like water. Woody has become absolutely shameless... I'm really surprised at what this guy has become.

Anyone surprised how empty the stadium looked during the Giants preseason game? I've never seen the stadium so empty for the JETS/Giants game. WOW
Did you guys get this email yet?!!?!?? I haven't seen it mentioned on this thread, and it should be mentioned. I copied and pasted this directly from the email I had today. I'm confused - story of my life. If season tickets are sold out, where are the limited single-game tickets coming from ? I though all seats were sold as season tickets.
Since they couldn't find enough people to buy the tickets for the season or half season they are not going to sell them for individual games. So now a Pats fan can go on ticketmaster and buy Jets tickets.
"Season tickets are sold out for the 2009 Jets season – but limited single-game tickets are now available via Ticketmaster." How can season tickets be sold out but single-game tickets still be available? Can someone (preferrably from the FO) explain? Were the tickets sold to Ticketmaster?
Actually all the face values of the tickets on Ticketmaster are higher. $90 for the uppers where I paid $75. So I think they raised prices to sell them on the open market, and we can get them for regular price.
