I think Payton is just trying to get Cable fired.

If your Brian Scottenheimer and your watching this, there should be no reason to NOT run, run, run on this Texan D with TJ and Leon especially.

Damn so one run by AP means that the Texans defense sucks?

Well, their defense does suck, but AP is amazing. I agree he does look bigger too.

Their defense is spotty regardless, especially with the wounded D that has no Jacque "I stink" Reeves and Dunta Robinson who held out and was out for alot of last year....the secondary is very spotty. And outside of Ryans and Mario, there are no really true playmakers on the D unless Cushing erupts right away.

I say run just because you need to keep the Texan offense away from the field.

You better run Week 1. I don't want to come out Gun Slinging with my rookie QB right out of the gate.

    Houston vs Minn.

Is anyone checking out the MNF game? Since A) Houston is our game 1 Opponent & B) It involves our former QB Brett Favre; I was just wondering if someone can give me a good Jets eye view of what they see in the game.

Only reason I ask is because Andy Pettite is pitching a Perfect Game so far and I gotta check it out.

    Thanks

    -Chris

-Edit: Nevermind - Yankee error ends the bid.

even with those two reasons its still belongs in the nfl forum.

I see an old man who looks 40. Thankfully we got him last year, because it would be true SOJ if he were still here.

And the houston Texans have a defense to match that offense.

Favre looks like he is back to Patriots/Titans Favre. Good for Minnesota.

that line will pressure Sanchez and Demeco Ryan is a top LBer. He'll be making plays.

that offense may not be doing anything tonight, but its still the #3 best offense in football.

Week one is going to be a tough game, let alone Ellis and Pace being out.
