PS3 Madden 10 Online Franchise, Season 1

I'm going to play my game right now...hopefully I don't get raped by All-Madden.

I'm 3-2 in my Jets offline franchise against All-Madden...my online Rams team is a lot worse than the Jets.

 

Like I said earlier in this thread, anyone who tries shitty stuff with me can play the remainder of the game against CPU.

1st qtr , first drive in your own half and you go for it on 4th and 3???
What are you doing using ask madden anyway, thought you were good?
Sorry, I just don't believe that is the way the game should be played.

then it's fine. I think 3 yards and less outside your own 40 at any point in the game is fine.

Look, we all have our own ideas on how the game is played, me I prefer to try and at least keep it as real as possible.
If I'm in the minority , then tough for me.

It really doesn't matter, the game is gone.
I play to the rules that are in post #1, which I think are true enough to the game.
I'm simply stating that I couldn't give a toss about DNF, and will have no problem pulling the plug on what I consider to be 'un-sporting' tactics.

I went for it once in my game. But it was a 4th and 1 or inches I think and I converted for a 1st down.

Difference is, it wasn't the first drive of the game. There's certain things that you have to take into account to go for it. Are you playing at home? Are you playing a division rival? What's your record? I say this because I played the Giants my Division rival, and on my 1st possession I kicked the ball away because it was 4th and 3 and the score was 0-0. There's a lot of football left on your first drive of the game. Just try to keep it as real as possible and punt the damn ball.

If you went for it on your side of the field, that's bullshit. I'm with gus on this one...going for it on fourth down outside of the 4th quarter is ridiculous...

We are making this league realistic and from what I saw in one of your earlier posts about using two controllers to get an achievement, I'm willing to bet you are a cheeser.

 

going for it on 4th down isnt being a cheeser. It's just not playing by the rules.

I just finished a game against the CPU and I was down 7-3 at the end of the first quarter...I had a couple of 4th and shorts and I punted the ball away.

Guess what? I ended up winning 40-7. If you have a three and out on your first drive, just remember, there's PLENTY of time left.

I stuck with my game plan and it obviously worked out.

There's a huge difference between skill and luck.

 

I meant that he probably uses cheese plays. He seems like someone that would use glitches...
