That play was excellent, BUT, I think John Gruden said it best last week: Bart Scott was Ray's sidekick in Blatimore, now he's come to NY to be... David Harris's sidekick. I mean, Harris was the real monster, he was in on every single freakin tackle.

Anyone saw that play in the Rams Game, where the Rams run a Trap? Incognito is pulling, and supposed to kick Scott out of the hole, Scott just put him on his ass. A OL pulling full speed, and he knocks him over, that was unbeliveable.

That's the same way I feel. David Harris has been the best linebacker on the field for every single preseason game.

i believe pace is the one who stood him up. nevertheless he muscled his way in between them with no helmet and literally SON'd brandon jacobs.

"give me your toy, and go to your room now! your grounded" and it was this play that led to Bradshaw seeing the bulk of the action.

i agree. but i believe harris is returning to his rookie form now that Barton is gone. as solid as barton was hes slow as fuck.

i notice Scott plugging holes and taking up blockers and Harris is just headhunting like his rookie yr.

this is the kind of shit Rex was talking about, the advantage to having Scott and Harris as opposed to Ray Lewis and Harris. there skill levels are such to where he can change the Mike blitz packages. so it doesnt matter if hes a sidekick or a super hero. Scott sets a tone on this defense and possesses the attitude weve been wanting to see in all our players.

scary thing is we havent seen any of the trick fronts where he switches DL and LB responsibilities further confusing the blitz pickups.

yeah Harris is a fucking monster, him and Scott will be a nasty combo for yrs to come.

Bart Scott lurks under your bed at night, only coming out to eat your dreams and steal your soul.

They bruised Jacobs' forearm prior to that play. He went into the locker room and missed some time. I think that had more to do with him being pulled.

I can'y wait for this season to start. It is going to be fun watching this D. Rhodes and Harrisare going to blow up. Both of these players are made better by Scott. As they said on Jet Nation last night...Bart Scott is a full grown man! I'll give you each a buck if Rhodes doesn't make the pro bowl...he has the potential to be the best safety in the game in this scheme.

Does anyone have a link to the video where he blew up that Rams guard? Gave him a concussion I think.

You could almost see the shockwaves go through that Guard as he was heading for the ground.

Mr. Scott can certainly walk the walk.

Yup yup, that was the Rams' first play from scrimmage. I was of and screaming on that play. I was psyched as hell when it happened.

We had 1 play where Jenkins put his hand on the dirt, and then, suddenly got up and dropped back and I think Thomas came and lined up as a DT. I don't think it led to anything (meaning we didn't get a sack or INT) but it was hard to miss Big Jenks getting up and lining up with the LB's.
