    I sure am.

I know everyone is hoping to insert a tall wide receiver or a burner into the number two spot, but I think Chansi Stuckey demonstrated tonight that he is exactly what we need.

If we had Eli under center, with his bad habit of throwing high, then yes, I'd really feel like we needed that tall wide out. If we had Russell or Stafford under center, with their ability to flick the ball 70 yards downfield, then yes, I'd really want that burner. But we've got Sanchez, and what's Sanchez's strong suit? Escapability, creating after the pocket breaks down.

That's why Stuckey is perfect, PERFECT for Sanchez. He's not a burner, he's not 6'4", but the dude knows how to get open, he knows how to find those soft spots in the secondary, and he can add a little fancy YAC as well!

I'm not as down on Clowney as I used to be, because the dude has made plays. But I'm more excited about Stuck than ever. We're set at wide out. I'm very confident in that.

...wouldn't have minded picking up Nicks, though.

How come you did not announce this weeks ago if you knew all this about Stuckey?

I've been preaching about Stuckey for months, actually.

I was pleased he showed some skills last night, but I wanted to get a good look at Clowney.

    Dissapointed!

They still need a #1 receiver. Fortunately, they know it.

Marshall is the best bet if we are willing to pay the Broncos and him what they want.

We need a true #1 and he is the only one available unless we want to pay out the ass for Boldin.

Tanny would be out of his mind to give Denver a 1st and 4th for Marshall, his surgically repaired hip and his 5 year old attitude.

Ive liked Stuckey since last year and he continues to improve. I think Cotch and Stuck will make a really good set of WR's though I dont think you could label either as a real #1 WR. Keller can fill in occasionally as the "tall" reciever and hopefully Clowney can fill the speedster role. Leon is great at taking a shuttle or screen pass and making big things happen. We may not need a true #1 but it would make life much easier for a rookie QB. Though I will say Sanchez looked very comfortable with these guys last night. They seemed to be in sync most of the time.

ive liked stuckey since the draft pick was announced. ive seen him play live a couple times in college. the guy is great.

hes tough, knows how to find soft spots in coverage. and his greatest asset is YAC.

just so happens thats cotchery's specialty too.

just like you said Stuckey matches Sanchez's skillset quite well.

stuckey contributing is a given. i just dont think people like waiting for someone aside from J-Co and Stuckey to make a play come regular season.

im still holding out hope for clowney, but ive watched him since his days at VT. that offense didnt help him grow at all as a player either. but if i were him id spend more time in the film room then on twitter. plain and simple.

only time will tell. i expect at least 6 td's for stuckey this year. at least.

Stuckey is solid. The guy shows some nice flashes.
We still need to get a Plax type guy in here, though.

We finally have our franchise QB, now we need to find our franchise WR.

I'm hoping we draft one next year instead of trading the pick away.

Dustin Keller is the only #1 WR on this team, just like Gates and Gonzales are their teams #1WRs.

I got jumped on when I said I was disappointed he got hurt and was lost for the year. "The guy hasn't done anything, it was only pre-season, blah blah blah blah..." No kidding; and I know pre-season isn't exactly the best litmus test in the world, but sometimes you see flashes that don't seem like run of the mill flashes. Perhaps I should have pushed him off a bridge instead.

I say let the chemistry go where it will. We'll see. Oh, and I don't buy that Stuckey is 6'0". Stretching it a bit, eh? Pun intended.

I must admit, I was down on Stuckey until last night. He looked great. Not sure what happened to Clowney, seemed to be invisible. But it was just one game. Those two can battle it out for #2. Please, drop the whole Marshall thing, he's not going anywhere, nor do we need that headache. He's either benched or playing for the Broncos this year.

Stuckey is a good #2 or 3 guy. Great skills for the slot. I'm happy with him as a 7th round pick who may produce for the team. I'm not sold on him as the #2 all season and think Clowney can still have something to say about it. That position will be in flux all season.
