Tanny may get desperate after this showing. Dont be surprised if they make a move for a WR this week

What else is bothering me is that alot of the giants starters on defense are sitting out, and if our secondary isn't looking good against these recievers then it's gonna be a nightmare having to play NE and Buffalo twice

What the heck are you talking about????? I am so tired of this Jets need a WR BS. What do the WR's have to do with anything bad that happened in that first half? Do the WRs play CB? Do they rush the passer? Is it their fault that Sanchez has no time. Stuckey mad two very good plays in the first half. WR is about the least important position on the field. Just stop it already and let the young WR's develop.

Who are the Jets going to get who is better? Reggie Brown? Old man Harrision? Trade for Marshall, who has the temperment of a 3 year old, and give up 2 draft picks, including a #1? The Jets are not winning the SB this year and are not likely to make the playoffs. Let's not make the same mistake at WR that was made at QB last year. Let's see if Stuckey and/or Clowney can play. If they can, problem solved. If not, the WR position gets addressed next off season.

I can't tell if most of these responses are sarcastic or not.

Lito's looked pretty bad but it's the 3rd game of the preseason. No need to jump off any bridges. If he really can't get the job done I wouldn't feel too bad about running Lowery out there, one would assume he'd do a better job in a defense that blitzes once in a blue moon than he did under Mangini.

He's using his hands because he keeps getting burned.

It's tough playing opposite Revis. We will see how it plays out into the season... Passrush wasn't good today, if that improves everything improves. But yeah, Sheppard looked like shit out there today, looked exactly like Lowery.

He wasn't burned on 2 of those 3 penalties he had in the first 1/2, he was stupid. He had good position and then just reached out and grabbed the receiver. If he plays the ball and not the man on the last its a pick. He's playing lazy.

The Giants announcers made a remark about the Giants picking on Lito when he was with the Eagles. They also said he was playing like a lazy cornerback. I cant disagree with these comments. There is a reason he was a backup in Philly last year. I think we will see him get some picks, but he will get burned alot. We will need to roll safety help to his side, which will hamper out blitzing defence.

We have an Elite Safety and Corner but we most defintely need a #2 CB. Lito seems more of a #3 but i guess all we can hope is he improves or Lowery emerges.

I don't think Rex was sending everything he had at the Giant.. when you consider that and the fact that Eli won't throw to Revis, the #2 CB is going to struggle a bit no matter who it is. Lito made actually some good plays. Obviously he got burned on a couple of plays too and Eli took advantage of that, but the PI calls had little to do with him not keeping step; like the announcers said, he was being lazy and tried to get away with too much. Honestly, if he can keep his hands to himself, I really don't think he'll be a problem. He and Lowery are good players and have a lot of potential so at this point I wouldn't get to down on either of them. If they continue to make mistakes throughout the reg season though.. that'll be disappointing to say the least.
