There is alot of trade action going around and Senor Electric has suggested we open a trading block thread. No more trade proposals in the franchise thread, they seem to be taking over it. Have at it guys...
St. Louis Rams Block: QB Marc Bulger - I'm more than likely going to start David Carr. Bulger is extremely accurate, but he doesn't have a strong arm. RB Steven Jackson - One of the best backs in the game. In order to acquire him, I'll need a speed back with solid hands involved in the deal. I'd like to get as much as possible from this deal. WR Marvin Harrison and Donnie Avery - I'm looking for taller, possession guys. Avery is incredibly fast. TE Randy McMichael - trying to either get a run blocker or a pass catcher...not someone in between like McMichael. OL Alex Barron - Young left tackle doesn't have a place on my team. Looking for a 3-4 inside backer. DE Leonard Little and James Hall - these guys just don't fit my scheme. Little is a very good 4-3 DE, but I run the 3-4. LB Wil Witherspoon - another guy that doesn't really fit my scheme. Very fast linebacker that would be good in the 4-3. CB Chris McCalister - Looking to get younger on defense...can be had for equal value FS OJ Otogwe - He's my best defensive player, but if the offer's right, I'll pull the trigger. SS James Butler - Could start on some teams, but I'm looking for a different style of safety. Basically everyone on my team is up for grabs except Chris Long, Jason Smith, Adam Carriker, and James Laurinaitis.
Everyone on the Seahawks is on the block except for Aaron Curry, and Lofa Tatupu. Notables: LT Walter Jones (OVR 94) Stephen Jackson (OVR 94) [You'd have to blow me away...] CB Marcus Trufant (OVR 88)
Breaking News, huge trade just occurred. Rams Get: WR T.J. Houshmanzadeh, RE P. Kerney, CB J. Wilson Seahawks Get: RB S. Jackson, WR M. Harrison, LT A. Barron
I picked a shitty team on purpose. I could've easily selected someone like the Ravens or the Colts. I wanted to rebuild a garbage franchise.
A franchise back that lacks breakaway speed...he doesn't fit into my system. I can make the playoffs without him. The only person that I actually lost in that trade was Jackson. I signed Harrison and Barron was a third stringer. It works out for me because now I have ammo with Housh.
I'll let you find out...we play again. Hopefully I won't suck so bad in the first quarter next time... Kidding. I just like faster backs that can catch. I also like having a powerback on my team...I have that with Edge James. I'm still trying to acquire some other guys.
Ahh, see I'm basically the opposite, i love those hard hitting backs that can pound it up the middle all game long
