Denver is not retarded enough to trade Marshall straight up for Clemens. Now Clemens and a 2nd round pick for Marshall and they might consider it........also being that Clemens may even be better than Orton

if we offered a number one for Marshall, we wouldn't need to include Clemmens. why stop at one number one if we are going to overpay, offer them 10 number ones and leave no doubt about the deal getting done.

Maybe they can send us a 1 back? After all we would be including Kellen Clemens:grin:

I doubt Denver gives up Marshall without at least a #1. If they're looking for multiple picks, I'd rather just send off Clemens whose going to be gone next year anyway.

If we can get him for less, then cheers.

if the Jets give up a #1 draft pick for this guy.....the heavens will explode.

I love his talent....but he's a loose cannon......and that 2010 draft is stocked with much needed DL prospects that we CANNOT pass up on.

On the flip side, if Marshall ends up being the difference between us being a SB contender or not, I don't see how you can possibly pass it up.

Sims is hurt and that may be the only shot of trading Clemens to the Bronco, other than that who would want this underachieving #2 only on the Jets QB. Ainge is better than Kellen.

I do say get Kellen off the team with anyone that will trade for him so Sanchez never looks over his shoulder.

And the Jets are a "Brandon Marshall" away from competing seriously for the Super Bowl......

If the Jets could make this happen for Clemens, I'd pull the trigger in two seconds. I'm sure Clemens would love to part ways at this point anyway.

    LOL...touche, bud.

too bad we can't find an available wideout with the talent of a "Brandon Marshall"....but without the baggage.

    I don't ask for much.

While we're at it we should see if the Pats want to trade Ainge for Brady...

    I hate this forum

With Brady and his recent surgery, I would rather trade Ainge for Peyton Manning. One Tenn. QB for another?

Not exactly apples to oranges, but in this case, it's at least grapes to black cherries :p

I'd prefer someone like him as opposed to someone like Anquan Boldin... at least Crabtree is young and would be an investment for the future, just like a draft pick next year would be.

Presumably this is a future where Crabtree decides to sign a contract based on when he was drafted rather than when he believes he should have been drafted.

Clemens has no value. If the Jets released him I don't think it's a given he'd be signed by anyone.
