Seems like the right move. This team can win now with some more offensive help, but for him to learn this year and setup for next year, that seems more likely.
I guess I cant say after his last performance I am convinced Sanchez has the job locked up but what is done is done
Okay. Let the next era begin. All I hope for now is that he stays healthy, and doesn't get too shook up when things go wrong. It's going to be a bumpy year, so I just hope he's got the mental toughness to ride out the storm.
This is great news! Now lets get the deal done to trade for Marshall so that he has some more weapons to hit. GO JETS!
He doesn't need 3600 yards and 30 TDs. Just don't make mistakes. No turnovers. We'll be fine if he can do that.
OK O-Line, OK running backs....let's help this guy. OK front office, if we're adding another WR let's get him in quick!
if you mean that sanchez had no comparable competition i agree. clemens has shown nothing to make me want him to start. he has always held onto the ball too long and thrown dumb ints. he still hasn't improved either of those in 4 years.
Very good OL, very good RBs. He'll be fine w/ the WRs and TE he has to throw to, we could use another blocking TE though even more than a WR.
Viva La Sanchez! I hope people are willing to cut the kid some slack when he inevitably has growing pains. He will struggle at times, but it's expected from a rookie in the NFL. Don was right.
Let's just hope he doesn't play so poorly that the team has to yank him and insert Clemens. It's easier to replace Clemens mid season with Sanchez, than it is Sanchez mid season w/ Clemens.
Damn Skippy This team seriously needs another wide receiver and I would love to take Brandon Marshall
Wow..that has intriguing possibilities. Orton doesn't seem to be the answer in Denver, not by a long shot. Simms may not last physically. I'm sure Clemens isn't a happy camper today.
