Sanchez looked shaky but so did Clemens. Difference is of course, Sanchez is a rookie who seems to have upside. Clemens is what he is. I would be in favor of sitting Sanchez his rookie year if only there were a better option in front of him. Unfortunately, I think we're going to be watching lots of games like this one in 2009. Let's just hope it leads to something good. As for Gholston, I officially throw in the towel. This guy just flat out can't play and will be remembered as a BUST for the ages. Makes D-Rob look like a Hall of Famer by comparison.
that is pretty much what ive taken away from the first half! rex wants consistent punting? well Hodges and Parrish won't be with us next week im afraid....
yep...i agree with your assertion....Sanchez should win the QB battle by default. That "shotput" that Clemens put up at the end of the half......fuck man.....that's something that I would've done in a "pick up" football game.....Clemens should be making better decisions than that for christs' sakes.
i'm guessing KC gets at least one more series, then we see harvard get a series and Ainge finishes it up....
Sanchez went up against a top 3 NFL defense.....got smacked around.....and still came back and led a TD drive. Although...Ed Reed, Suggs & Ray Ray weren't on the field......but still.....what Sanchez did with that drive...will boost his confidence.
I agree, Sanchez looked exactly what a rookie making his first NFL start should look like against the best D in the league. Clemens, looked nothing like what a 4 year vet should look like. It's over, Sanchez by default and live with his growing pains...
Can we just pay Leon already? Sanchez and Clemens are playing so bad Erik Ainge might actually be thrown into the competition
You guys are so jaded it's not even funny. I'm really disgusted with the amount of Sanchez fanboys in this thread. He played like shit! Let's face it! This game will determine nothing. Where is the CLOWN!?
