Derrick Brooks?

westerman is right now on the 3rd string team. It'd be surprising to see him taking 10% of the snaps in any game.

I Rather have a past prime Derrick Brooks who never played in the 3-4 start over The Ghost.

Would anyone of you think it would be a good Idea, to start Brooks at DE in a 43?

I think Brooks is great linebacker, but he does not fit the Jets system. The only team that will sign him would be a team that runs the Tampa 2 Defense of schema. He will be HOF for sure, but it would be a pick up for us.

 

If the Jets were going to Derrick Brooks....it wouldn't have made sense to trade away Vilma.

Ahh, you've given up on Gholston after one pre-season game and you want to replace our # 1 pick with an old guy. I think those days are over, no more guys past their prime, Bradway and Herm are gone. Lets keep moving forward and give Vernon a chance, besides Pace is back after 4 games

 

Derrick Brooks fits our scheme as much as Vilma did.
