Well how can they sell season tickets 20% cheaper than individual game tickets if there's no individual game tickets?

    2010 Tickets

My next big guess is that when they don't sell all the PSLs for 2010 they will offer people who are current season ticket holders who did not pay for a PSL or got to move to the 300's the season tickets for 2010 without having to buy a PSL. They can't have empty seats and it would look bad to sell tickets to general public at face when people paid 20K for the right to buy tickets at face.

I hear Mezz sales are going really bad in new stadium, would not be suprised if they let me stay in Mezz next year without buying a PSL>

They're smoking the funny stuff if they think they charge that much per ticket on top of a PSL.

Bottom line is, this is getting pretty desperate and will probably get worse. Next thing you know, you'll be able to call the ticket office and play "Let's Make a Deal."

Hmmm.... maybe there's a way I can convert my new 2010 Uppers back into my old seats in the Mezz without a PSL...

$115 is face, but season tix are 20% under individual price, so if the Jets sell games individually then that price will be $143.75

Preseason Tickets - Since no one wants to go to the Eagles game with me, I guess they are smarter than me I am giving my tickets to charity. However, I was thinking if weather was nice maybe I could grab train from Penn and buy a ticket for ten bucks just to check out my new seats and see first half. Is that feasible? I rather have ticket in hand before I hop on train from penn, if not do people sell them in the Meadowlands parking lot. I see them on Stubhub for ten bucks but I don't want to bother as it would be a total last minute thing if in the mood and weather is ok. I don't care if it is the worst seat in the house, there will be plenty of places to sit if not I can walk around, who cares.

You can absolutely catch a train at the last minute and score a ticket in the parking lot VERY inexpensively. Don't worry about the weather, once you're in the stadium you can meander around wherever you want... 50YL Mezz under cover if it starts to rain.

Once in the stadium, yes, you can go find your seats for the fall and probably even sit in them if you want to. Main thing is to get a ticket... any ticket for anyplace, and then work it from there. Some guards in some sections will turn you away, but you keep on trying at various openings and you'll get in. Once into the Mezz level, for example, you're free to wander around wherever you want and wherever there's an empty seat.

Thanks, btw I am Mezz right by you. Since I will still have my hardcopy Mezz ticket can't I just use that to enter Mezz once I am inside.

I don't know what you mean, I thought you needed to buy a ticket.

But whatever. If you don't have a ticket you can get one there. If you do have a ticket (any ticket), that gets you into the stadium, period. Once inside, yes, you can go to any level you want and won't have much trouble getting into any section you want.

At preseason games especially, the guards don't really care because everybody knows there are empty seats all over the place.

I logged on to my Jet account to email someone the Eagle tickets, and there is an extra set of upper deck tickets in my account for this game only. I immediately called my friend who logged on and found 2 in his account as well, just for this preseason game.. Anyone else out there have 2 extra tickets in their account..

I Posted this in another thread also, seeing if anyone else got extra uppers in their account

Lucky me!!!! I just noticed on my Jets Tix account that I also have 2 extra tix for the Eagles pre season game. I called the Jets and was told that these are a gift from the Jets. I was told that a very limited number of season holders received these if they have in the past forwarded tix through the ticket website. So now instead of having 8 virtually worthless tix I now have 10. It goes to show you that they know they can't sell any season plans with pre seasons attached. If I had Woody's email addresss I would forward them to him.

"Preseason Games" is really a misnomer anymore. They're practice scrimmages in which the 1st squad basically practices against another team for the 1st quarter. For the remaining 3 quarters, you're watching walk-ons who are trying to make the team, most of which will be moving furniture in Des Moines Iowa by September.

You can sell a ticket to a Linden High School Tigers game against Union High at a better price than what our preseasons go for because you have a much more interesting football game to watch. The NFL really needs to get their heads out of their asses.

At least the Eagles game might see Vick starting, that's worth something
