First at QB we know Sanchez will be the starter come game one. Any other thought is fantasy. He is Rex's pick and Rex loves everything about him. You can tell Clemens learned from Chad with his 6.0 yards per completion. Eric showed he can be a good 3rd QB.

Next, Gholston better improve more or he won't be starting come week one inplace of Pace, it just might be Westerman who Rex has been giving high praise to. I listened to them talk about the Gholston interview and how he said he feels no preasure and is layed back. WTF, this guy should be playing lights out.

I think we have found our #2 WR? Clowney is the guy who can make the plays. Name him #2 and see how he performs. Sorry Stuckey, he is more exciting and you are a great slot guy.

Keller may lead this team in catches for the year, who cares if he can block as long as he can get those YAC?

Jones will be playing his last season in NY if Greene keeps showing those flashes. Who am I kidding Jones is gone next year regardless.

If we don't want to use Washington on kick/punt returns we better find someone else. Lowry and short lived Raymond are not the answer.

Can Woodhead make the team? I want the kids to succeed, but the line did not help his cause any tonight. He could be the answer for PR/KR. I really wanted to see him go out for some passes.

Defense will rival any Jets team in sacks and Ints this year. I love the attitude they showed. I just hope we don't get any injuries, because our depth looked real shallow.

    Guys who impressed me tonight:
    Pace (we will miss him)
Harris (great things will come if he stays healthy)
Clowney (the man can run and he is showing he can catch too)
Keller (he is impressing as a receiver)
Renkart (he was where the ball was)
Ihedigbo (hearing good things about him)
    Trusnik (earning a spot)
Cummings (will be a big help if Gholston continues to unimpress)

    Guys that didn't impress me:
Lowry (he gave up a big pass and muffed a punt return)
Gholston (for the ammount of time on the field I saw him only three times)

Just my thoughts on the game from a long time Jets fan.

I want to see Clowney run some more intermediate routes, if he's gonna start he's not gonna be flying down the field all game

Gholstons performance did not bother me, its his attitude and motivation that does. Where the fuck is it?

As i just said in another thread..."Lowery wasn't that bad..he was bad on punt returns but the one play he was beat on was just a picture perfect throw that no CB could do anything about..I thought he looked good in run support too."

and I also want to see Clowney run some more intermediate routes.

that's exactly what keeps him from removing BT from the starting lineup.

Lowry will be our #3 CB this year and I'm okay with that, just as long as Lito and Revis stay healthy.

If there's one coach in the league that can motivate Gholston it has to be Rex..and Bart should help too.

yea, no kidding. If he's just naturally a laid back person, whatever. But what the fuck, he needs to show some urgency and passion. His attitude is too laid back for someone who has irrational fans calling for his head after one year. Don't prove these stupid fucks to be right by acting like you dont care...

    Ugh.....

That's what alarms me more than anything else about Gholston....that fire just doesn't seem to be there with him.

the scouts who said he enjoys but doesn't love this game were right.

if there is a way for him to just begin to love hurting QBs then he'd at least be worth it. But even that is an innate quality in a pass rusher.

Maybe we need to get a bunch of QBs to run a train on his mother.

I just watched some of the highlights again, Dustin Keller is just insane. He's uncoverable and just gets so wide open he will always light you up for some big time YAC too.

I don't think one preseason game can determine everything. I'm not ready to name David "The preseason warrior" Clowney anything, until he can do this in a real game. Then I will be stoked to have him as a solid number 2.

I just think people are not really being to patient.
